Yet again, don't forget to switch over to the Beards dub when you get to the Final few comics (The Mann Co. No More series, starting with Ring of Fired onwards.) otherwise you won't be able to watch the final comic. Ingame, both of the mann brothers are present in the halloween map "Helltower" where they have 25 or so minutes worth of voicelines just bickering with each other or yelling at their respective team to send their brother to hell. They are both voiced by Nolan North. The ghost of their father (who was actually a map hazard on the first halloween map the game had: Harvest Event.) also appears on helltower and has one voice line (also voiced by Nolan North.) where he crushes his sons dreams of getting full recognition by saying that Grey is his favorite son.

3:45btw this is why merasmus comes as a boss in tf2 screamfortress that both red and blue team need to kill. Thx soldier 10:20and this is the update where they added robo engineer to mvm. 20:30and in screamfortress there is a map named helltower where both teams fight to kill the other guy so both team race to kill the gost of the other team (am sure almost all big tf2 updares were announced in the comics first)

The thing about Soldier is that he is not actually stupid, he is delutional. I think it is rather clear that he suffers from completely untreated paranoid scizophrenia thats also being actively enabled by most around him because it makes him better at his job. He has weird ideas, delutions, and sees danger in odd places because he is in a state of psycosis, and I honestly feel really bad for him.

about the Soldier's... peculiare state, it may be linked to him having drank lead-poisoned water for the best part of several years, though its also implied he wasnt completely here even before that. though I guess it helps that the settng as a whole si rather insane. Two brothers fighting a war over pits of gravel they are persuaded is key to controlling the world (hey even think cars run on gravel), and basically everyone on australia, going around punching the wildlife and eachother... and thats without mentioning that apparently rocket jumping was how people used to get upstairs before stairs were invented

16:15 is a moment that years later community would joke about In 2019 there was a small update that somehow broke some specific crates to always drop super rare "unusual" hats that had flying effect around them. With how deep TF2 economy is, it was a real disaster back then Don't really remember how it all ended, IIRC those hats just became untradeable so to no value

Soldier also became a real estate agent after being evicted as well from Merasmus castle, and he also killed Tom Jones, also he becomes the lover of one of Heavys sister, he is random and all over the place but by god is he living the american dream

Soldier is like Karl Pilkington. He's actually the single most intelligent character in TF2, but he's on such a level on intellect that it's literally incomprehensible to everyone else, including the reader. So he only APPEARS to be a dummy.
