Issue is that's actually viable. You want a true gimmick? Don't use the rifle, Use the cleaners and build up the charge then hide somewhere, when enemys cross your path activate the crits and backstab them all with the bushwacka. Unlike piss they won't know until they're already being smacked upside the head.

Gimmick I use: Scottish Resistance at health kits. Deal some damage, run away, and then detonate when you think someone ran for the kit.

Lots of other scott resistance related ones. Try to get kills only air deting with huge arks. trap friendly engie buildings and wait for spies. Make pictures to distract people out the bombs. Just saturate the map with them with a friend but never det. And like spread them out so they just appear everywhere. Watch reactions and see how long till they start ignoring them. Use loose cannon as your only weapon to damage. The bombs are just to confusing people. On the final point start deting them now that no one is paying attention.

10:24 for what it's worth, the reason that was a backstab is because he was backing up. For reasons Gaben alone knows, your hitbox reverses when you start backing up, meaning your face becomes your "back" when Spies are concerned. Very useful for avoiding a backstab when a Spy is *behind* you while you're backing up, but deadly when you're looking at them.

As a main sniper, I LOOOOVE going around with the Classic, just always walking slowly with the charge and somehow still getting an absurd amount of undeserved frags x)

Here's a list of weird ideas you can try. 1. The Loose Shooter: 1 Pyro with the reserve shooter and 1 demo with the Loose Cannon. I've done this before and it's actually a pretty effective strategy. 2. Medic Killer: 1 or more Pyros with the thermal thruster and third degree. Pop out of nowhere and kill the medics with your melee. 3. Offensive Scottish Resistance: Pretty self explanatory. I usually trick enemies with this strat because they're not used to dodging 14 stickies at once. 4. Red Tape Bully: 1 Spy with a red tape 2 + Pyros that will only airblast the poor Engie. The goal is to see if you can destory the building with the Red Tape while keeping the Engie alive. Holiday Punch might be good for this too. 5. Invisible Spies: Only use the letranger and dead ringer. Use the dead ringer to save yourself from death. Use the revolver to gain back cloak so you could theoretically live forever. 6. The Great Wall: 1 Vaccinator + Medic 1 heavy with fists of steel only + any character or your choosing. The Fists of Steel Heavy will soak up the damage while being pocketed by the medics. The heavy and medic will body block for the other player..

Scorch Shot and Axtinguisher: Shoot an enemy with the scorch shot and have it bounce off, hit them with the axtinguisher, have the flare explode on the ground, hit again with axtinguisher. I once killed an overhealed heavy with 4 swings doing this.

My Gimmick is: Spyclicle, Ambassador, and CND. Cloak next to an enemy engineer and spam "The engineer is a spy" occasionally sapping their stuff anytime they walk away from their buildings, this works best when the engineer setup in the Intel, mainly because not a lot of their teammates come to it and mess things up.

Also I like to use the loadout that I call charge n' cap. This loadout is: Pain train+iron bomber+spledid screen(in super rare situations you can use the tide turner instead). You move to the point or payload as faster as possible and either capture or push it as faster as possible.
