I used to feel that way until I stopped worrying about "wasting" my arrows and aiming for the head, if you see a bunch of enemies in one spot literally just spam and you'll have kills guaranteed. Also equiping the jarate helps.

Agree. Yesterday I had a surprisingly good Spy day, I think I'm getting a hand on the class. Yet, a lot of my deads were pretty often caused by projectiles that were mean for someone else.

People talk about the lucksman shots, or Huntsman taunt kills, but then there's the HTKD (Huntsman Taunt Kill Duel), which is just a mental battle to see which sniper will die first.

I believe that's how archers were deployed historically IRL, just a get a whole bunch of 'em, line 'em up and have them constantly fire arrows into the battlefield. Wonder if some players in TF2 tried doing this, in the style of "fat scout rush" in some Hightower videos.

Just tried this with the Fortified Compound on 2Fort. Wasn't even really aiming but I managed to hit a cloaked spy walking through the right entrance. So, yes, it is confirmed that both bow and arrows are indeed equipped with unbelievable luck.
