I think my favorite memes are the one where players are just playing around, I don't think would be exaggerating by saying that TF2 is also a comedy game, the game has the tools to do so. I really started to get into TF2 recently and it's so cool to see that it's not that rare to see people joking around and having fun! It gives the game such a lite tone than other more serious multiplayer games

im playing since 2007 and while i do consider the gameplay itself timeless what really keeps me around is the vibes, community and all the funny. Its the only mp game where every other match(sometimes one after another) im chuckling, sometimes near crying, and heck only sometimes its friendlies and such. From ragdolls to absurd moments, to seeing a deathcam of your killer laughting with a spy and a crit rocket behind him, to random interchanges like seeing how much some players apreciate when i give then teleporter priority... mp games invite toxicity, tf2 is no different, but tf2 is the only one ive seen that seems to have some power of washing it away... maybe its just the charm and funny so great it far outweights everything else, including its own flawns. Just the other day i was pretty much dueling with another demo main(focusing one another), both kinda try harding, when at one moment we managed to dodge/miss all 4 pipes at the same moment... we just stared at each other for a moment and next thing both were dead from suicide(shame). Im generally chill (but even i was sweating given the challenge) but what struck me most was seeing even a tryhard couldnt resist... tf2s charm is contagious
