In the clip where the Demo's stickybomb blasted you up in the air and you took no damage. My thinking leads me to believe that the Demo came out from under the floor to sticky-jump as you were jumping over him which lead to him sticky jumping into your feet and launching you into the air which would explain why you took no blast damage at all from the sticky.

It's likely that the demo was still there and Source has this weird thing, as explained by LazyPurple, where sticky explosions will register how much damage it takes to kill the demo who shot them in the first place and then simply delete the excess. You most likely got hit by the splash damage's AoE knockback effects since you would be in the AoE, but took no damage because the stickies' demo ate all the actual numerical damage.

Honestly I love this behind the scenes stuff, I hope we get more of it as a bonus after every Mann’s Guide because y’all put a ton of work into this and it’s great seeing all the scrapped bits. As a writer I love seeing the bits that got left on the cutting room floor and how you all wanted to include more of them, but didn’t to make the video better. It makes things feel a lot more honest and way more entertaining, and both Mann’s Guide and this video knocked it out of the park.

Listen it's totally fine to "Copy" or "Rip pages from" other people when it's super entertaining and just something more people should do. A behind the scenes look at the animation, jokes, script writing, is hugely important because it can give people extra laughs, and a better appreciation for how you made such an amazing video. I would not mind at all to see more of this style in the future because it wouldn't be copying, it would be Soundsmith as always and how YOU get things done and what You and your team bring to the table. Keep it up big dog!
