Occasionally a bot might appear, but so far those accounts always get VAC/game banned or deleted quickly, usually within hours from what I've seen. I never demanded that the game be 100% bot free, even much newer games than TF2 don't manage that. We just need the number of bots to be kept down to minimal levels, so players can use the in-game kicking system to take care of any stragglers, and 99% of the games will be effectively bot-free. And so far they are.
