Their reason for removing extendfreeze was "because players can abuse it to keep spectating the enemy player that killed them" EDIT: To clarify, I am AGAINST the removal of this command. Maybe my original comment may mislead ppl :P

I just don't get why Valve disabled the spectate option from Casual. If it's to prevent players from avoiding getting autobalanced, that just shows how bad the autobalance system is. Imagine you're about to win the round within the last minute and then autobalance strikes you, that's just plain unfair. I don't care about the rankings, I just wanna win the game. Is that too much to ask for? I worked so hard to carry my team to victory only for autobalance to sabotage it all, is that what I get for all the hard work I've done for my team? Truly a cruel fate to have in Casual, absolutely disgraceful of Valve.

There was a plugin in Cs 1.6 that if you were a admin you could spawn a player model in the sky that only cheaters could see. It was so sick to spectate, spawn a model in the sky, and then watch cheaters shoot at it and respond to what they're seeing.

Honestly, I've given up on trying to get them kicked. Unless it's a bot, the odds of an enemy team kicking their cheater is almost zero. Much easier to just requeue and hope the next match doesn't have any bots and cheaters. Or better yet, find a good community server.

There is an easier way to preform this on casual only servers. If when a round is in warmup, and you go to the chose a character to spawn as but don't chose a chactor when the round starts the first setup the screen is removed... but you'r still in spectator mode. My method only works in casual mode and lets you (re)spawn as soon as chose a class... remember it only works if you join a match during pregame.

If I recall, menuopen and menuclose are commands for when you open the menu to change classes or teams. You can’t respawn when either menu is open. That’s pretty genius being able to do that while not having those actual menus open.

I used to just open the class selection menu and hold tab to watch sus players. This is actually better. I dislike Delfy for showing how it can be abused though I know it's content but come on, we know Valve isn't going to do shit abt exploits.

Apparently Valve removed the extendfreeze command that people were using to spectate cheaters a few months ago (I haven't personally checked, I just saw a lot of comments on a video about spotting cheaters mentioning this), so having a new alternative is good.

If you use this to immitate wallhacks and "troll" people you're no better than a cheater. Using this to your advantage is a dick move. While I do hope this doesn't get patched due to its potential upsides, if you use this actively to get an *unfair advantage* over other players, you are no better than the cheater you're trying to get rid of in the first place.

That is when you need more than one friend on the enemy team then switch off who kills the spy.

Suffering - is the only thing that matters ( therefore, suffering is bad, regardless if who suffer), anything other seems to be important, because it influences amount of suffering, for example, food decrease suffering, deceases increase suffering.

Even if it was obvious spots; it still sucks to have someone rat your location, and for your buddy to exploit that. The fact without it, he simply doesn't check those areas until he gets the information he shouldn't have. There is another command "+extendfreeze or extendfreeze" that extends your respawn time. If you spam it you will get like 999 seconds but the real exploit is that when you get killed by someone if you spam the command when you are in the kill cam you can spectate the enemy player that killed you. Even if he dies, when he respawns, you will be spectating him again

Cheater issue aside, there's zero reason to disallow spectating on any server. Spectating is a feature that's been in online FPSes since forever. The fact some crybabies piss their diapers at "that guy's not playing!!!1" is not a valid reason to disallow spectating.
