When I started playing medic, recognizing situations and the strategic options they present was my hardest hurdle, and the second hardest was reaction time. At my worst, I was like a wild beast, without control of any particular area of my body. I've heard that, in survival, it takes 4 seconds for you to decide to move, and another 4 to actually move. It can take 1 minute to make a conscious decision to move and 4 to actually do it. I've been told, after years of practice, that I can start moving and reacting in under 20 milliseconds.

Perfect. Right on point. Please make more. This is like Array's new series of demo reviews, and honestly I feel like you should do straight up more of that at some point. Your format allows for very Mr Paladin-like content, and Medic is perhaps a class even more versatile than Spy because of the amount of combinations of people and combos to heal and face off against, so yeah you could get a lot of mileage with just gameplay after you get the essays over with also I'm just in awe of the speed with which you produce such good quality videos

I do want to hear your thoughts on the blutsauger as a primary, It's my primary of choice, and while it might sound selfish because of the overall reduced healing, it does help when it comes to survival, fighting spies, finishing off ennemies, or even things like taking out cocky scouts

Medic guides on KZbin are generally really outdated or not that good (holding to exception Array's new Medic Survival Guide, but that seems to be going nowhere with the sudden stop in uploading those). Great video, My only problem is that I'm f2p but I still like to play tf2. I play Medic quite a lot, and I find it very frustrating that I'm no longer able to talk to anyone during a match. Especially when I see an obvious spy about to backstab my teammates, I can't yell spy, I can't warn them, I can do nothing. And if I try to kill the spy, I get killed instead. I'm not complaining to you, it's just me ranting about my problems. :(

Finally someone mentioned that medics should heal other medics...I think that's my biggest pet peeve is when I am overhealing another med but he doesn't overheal me. I seem to end up dead, while he does not.

Making a split second decision about whether I should follow a teammate into danger or back off to play it safe is such a rewarding gameplay loop. I've been reviewing your footage--Your instant Blast or Fire Uber Macros are absolutely OP x.x A normal person would have to press R once, uber, then R twice faster then a DoA player must enter a move combo to match that & they will most likely undershoot by ubering Bullet or Overshoot by pressing reload 3 times by mistake back to blast. I hear of unfair advantages but this takes the cake.

5:56 Honestly, I totally would've just pumped that Heavy full of blast res and crossbow heals. The Uber Pair was clearly fixated on him and every second wasted on trying to kill the heavy means another second they aren't charging into RED with Uber Meanwhile, if they suddenly grow a few brain cells and attempt to attack you, you also have Blast Res and can just damage surf your way out of there, wasting even MORE of the medic's time as now they have to re-aim at the Heavy or risk getting mowed down right as uber ended. Sacrificing your teammates when you need to save yourself is good and all, but stalling out an enemy's Uber when they're playing with their teeth is a pretty good proposition

Random drops be like that alright, and crafting recipes can be pretty awkward depending on weapon recipes, thankfully you can always rent a weapon for a week from the Mann Co Store. You can rent a weapon as many times as you want for as long as you want as long as you're not already renting a weapon which is some very handy information to know
