TF2 X-1 Is the STRANGEST Experience!

TF2 X-1 is a very strange experience. Today we check out a TF2 X-1 server and it let to some of the strangest and funniest moments I've ever had playing TF2! TF2 X-1 is a similar experience to things like x10, x100, or even x1000, but the twist is that instead of multiplying stats positively, we're going in the opposite direction! This leads to some crazy weapon balance changes in TF2, like the sun on a stick suddenly being able to crit anyone who isn't on fire! Try the cloak and dagger, you won't lose any cloak unless standing still, presumably.

The medic taunting that's normally supposed to heal but it kills here cracks me up!! I thought x1000 and x10,000 was hilarious, but x-1 is insanely funny! I want to see if the vaccinator makes it to where you take MORE damage? Also I believe it was the map doing that stuff to your skins.

I personally reccomend the cow mangler, buff banner, and escape plan. the cow mangler deals crits whenever it would normally minicrit and the escape plan marks enemies for death on hit. The buff banner works the same as it does in vanilla.

dang shame im very late to join the party in server but nonethless, great video. would love to see more x-1 cause i think this mode is both underrated and unironically funny. i suggest force a nature, dragon's fury, eureka effect, overdose, bushwaka-jarate combo and any of flare gun, scorch shot and detonator

The Quick-Fix gives you way higher overheal, while the Vaccinator lets you overheal way faster. The Phlog can airblast. Most Demoknight weapons become kinda dumb - except the Skullcutter, which is basically a Powerjack. The Back Scatter becomes way better for straight combat.

I used the cloak and dagger in one of these (mightve been the same server, who knows) and it’s so interesting Your cloak drains while not moving and charges while moving The only way to charge it after it’s completely depleted is with ammo I bet it could be a cool item on normal servers if it was changed just a little

also the reason all the reflective surfaces shine is because the cubemaps on the map don't exist so the game resorts to its own cubemap texture (and the reason it glows is because HDR is enabled as well)

The cubemaps are missing for this map so instead it uses HL2 cubemaps. That's why everything was messed up. Keep up the good work with these videos 👍🏻

The jumper weapons are just basically stronger weapons of stock since having -100% damage penalty means a +100% damage bonus in x-1, although at the cost of less ammo
