5.11 has an opportunity to bring the "wide toe box" feature set of latest gen sneakers to the mainstream crowd. Adopting that would be a hit... Edit: I want to make sure I clarify, I specifically mean "wide toe box", not just more wide sneaker selections. Wide toe box/"barefoot" style shoes offer much more step-off leverage and are night and day more comfortable than tradition toe box sizes. Go look at Altra's if you want an example of wide toe box. But yes, offer more wide sizes in general too!

Constructive criticism if I may. My wife suggested a line of Women's jeans in a low-waist, tapered leg, skinny format. _"Enough of the high-waisted, flared mom jeans from the Seinfeld era. They were ugly back then and they are STILL ugly now."_ Also my wife: _"Leggings are _*_NOT_*_ pants!"_ On behalf of Men's apparel. Please stop making our pants so effeminate! We need the _opposite_ of the women's jeans. *_NO MORE_* tapered, skinny, nut huggers. Ask yourself, "Would I wear this at Deer Camp?" If you answered 'Yes' - then you are at a spa not a hunting lodge or deer camp. With all due respect, James can continue to wear his skinny nut huggers but he does *not* speak for the rest of us. No kidding. Their “relaxed fit” jeans are significantly narrower through the thigh and calf than any of their other pants. I don’t need them to be as loose as their ripstop pants, just looser than they are now. The only reason I wear them is because my wife likes them.

A small request for the new Founders Edition Jacket. For the business world, many wear some type of lapel pin. It would be nice to have that slit w/ reinforced stitching in the usual lapel pin placement on left lapel. Just punching thru with a pin will eventually allow stretching or material pulling or fraying. Also...when expansion takes place, additional colors would be nice, like charcol gray or dark hunter green.

@ well, my previous shoes have degraded quickly including my AT boot as well as my AT trainers. I don’t know if I am going to get another pair of 5.11 shoes. The boots in particular made me mad because there was something that developed that started stabbing me in my Achilles. I had already junked them up pretty good with concrete dust so I didn’t think that I’d be able to return them. I do love the jeans and might, just might try the shoes. I like the company so I’m giving them some grace.
