Easiest dot mounting I’ve ever done but do pay attention to the right side screw length. (I knew that going in and I haven’t had extraction issues). I def prefer this grip angle to the Glock, dot is always right there when I draw. Trigger is def like a Glock but I’d say smoother. I’d take a mushy feel over the random multiple janky walls. Fits my Glock holsters. Texture on the grip is better than a Glock and def in that Goldilocks range for shooting and carry comfort. Mag release, even though it’s gen 3, easier to manipulate than a gen 3 Glock. The Hungarian Defence Forces and the Hungarian Police have officially adopted the CZ P-09 and CZ P-07 in 2017 with partial local manufacturing. After 7 years of experience, I can tell that they are solid handguns but with many flaws, some making them inadequate for a service / duty handgun. The guns have QC issues, even those that are made in the Czech Republic. Rusting happens a lot, even straight out of the factory. The quality of the finish varies a lot from batch to batch. The biggest reliability concern is the firing pin retaining pin breaking often, sometimes after as little as few hundred rounds. These lock-up the gun completely. The firing pins themselves break a lot too, equally bad. The slide stop can also tends to break but at least this usually doesn't make the gun inoperable. CZ SP-01 Shadows and CZ Shadow 2s are the most popular in Hungary for sport shooting which is fair, they have a solid price and shoot really well but the same problems appear with these guns as well which leads me to believe that this is an inherent issue of the CZ75 design. Apart from QC / reliability problems, another well-documented user feedback is the slide itself being too small for duty use. As the slide rides inside the frame, the surface for gripping it is just too small with the serrations being insufficient. Under stress, especially in gloves, racking the gun can be very difficult. Hungarian law-enforcement SOP dictates Condition 3 carry (I know, it's stupid) so this enlarges said problem even more. Obviously, this can be improved with proper training but everybody knows how much training LEOs get so it's just wishful thinking. That being said, I love the P-09. As a sport shooter, I shot it for over a year, won some matches with it and I find the gun great to shoot, I like how it sits in my hand, I like how balanced it is, I could find ways to work around the ergonomics and I like the trigger too. But I wouldn't trust my life on the CZ P-09. The CZ P10 is a better, more reliable handgun without question. However, I really appreciate CZ sticking to the severely ignored DA/SA market and updating the design with the new Nocturne. I hope that with this facelift, they fixed some of these problems I presented and I look forward to trying it as soon as I can get my hands on one.

One thing I haven't seen a lot of people mention about the RXM is that the locking block now bears on the steel LCA instead of the polymer frame, improving lockup and feel. This is why Glock added the 3rd pin.

Just so everyone knows, it's not our fault that Smith and Wesson cares more about production numbers rather than QC, they fired people while I was there because they were doing proper QC and it slowed their production down slightly, the people they praised were the ones throwing out bad quality parts non-stop and had dust on their go and no-go gauges

@bruceblackerby3742 sounds about right, I got a 586 a few months ago and it was light striking non-stop (weak hammer spring, I tightened the strain screw as much as possible and it still light striked) sent ti back and they returned it saying the strain screw was loose, still light striked, so I sent it back a second time putting in a note telling them how I worked there and knew they didn't touch it because I tightened it myself, needless to say it was the hammer spring and it came back fixed properly

I'm curious about if they clean and lube their products before they box them for sale. Lots of reviewers insisting on "out of the box" performance with breaking the new gun in like that is the benchmark for reliability and endurance. It's in the owner manual to clean, inspect and oil the gun prior to initial use
@ksrebelbuck79362 күн бұрын
@williamryan9195 yes and no, when the parts are made and assembled they use a CLP called I think 'Firepower' or something like that, even on the polymer frames but after test firing I'm not entirely sure, I don't think they clean them after test firing, just during production and assembly
@williamryan91952 күн бұрын
@@ksrebelbuck7936 Thanks. I thought that was the case. You are aware that even polymer framed pistols require lube. The action is still a metal-to-metal situation and needs oil to keep things rolling.Tight new gun and lack of lube isn't ideal.

Px4 is something to look at for sure!

I think the RXM is going to be a big hit. I just wish they had a micro version.
@brianshuler69512 күн бұрын
The Beretta PX4 full and compact are great pistols. I have both. They are not Langdon versions, although I have incorporated some Langdon parts. Be aware that the sub-compact is a PX4 in name only. It has completely different internals, ergos, and is the red-headed stepchild that could never live up to it's big brothers.

It's a tilt barrel too
@brianshuler69512 күн бұрын
@finesse7943 That's part of what I was talking about when I said it had "different internals". The SC has none of the characteristics that make the PX4 fulls and compacts great guns.

#1 for sure Bodyguard 2.0. I’ve bought two and both flawless.
@xiaoliang60132 күн бұрын
just taken first shots of my new S&W bodyguard 2.0 a few hours ago, with MAXX ammo (yeah not the best ammo), around 50 rounds, all good, hopefully I got more luck 🙂

Other than my recoil spring being weird on my Bodyguard 2.0, I love it. Best pocket carry gun I’ve bought in a long time

Im surprised that the hk cc9 isn't on the list
@matthewbeaver50262 күн бұрын
Maybe had they brought us the real deal and not some knock of g3c.
@NatedoggEM10157Күн бұрын
Probably because nobody cares about any new micro 9 releases, they were way late to the market.

Cc9 is better than that bs #1 glock pick that no one cares about
@cavscout888Күн бұрын
My Bodyguard 2.0 wouldn't cycle well constantly over 250rds. Turned out the recoil spring poorly cut at one end, bending it outward, makes all these pistols hang up bad. S&W replaced the spring and now works perfect and trust it.

I don't care what you review. Entertaining as hell. Wish I could make your party in Vegas.

I have watched you before and honestly never really impressed. I watched you here and you came across as more transparent. You were just you and I really enjoyed it. I’m going to have to watch you some more. Good job.

Hi-Point will probably release the “Little Luigi” pistol in 2025. It will also function about as well as Luigi’s pistol did.

Nah, It's a HiPoint, it will work. If it's not a YC...

My Bodyguard 2.0 is amazing. Just got it for Christmas and go one for my daughter also. Took them to the range on Saturday and dumped 300 rounds through both guns with zero failures. Issues are resolved. I think your missing a few other new SW MP 2.0s from this list as well as the Canik TTI Combat Master JW clone that came out this year. I would also add the HK CC9 to your list.

Some gun enthusiasts, are hating Ruger for ripping off Glock. Their patent expired on gen 3. See= Armalite AR15. Glock still has patents on 4 and 5. Like Bob Marley sang in 3 Little Birds.

I see @4:32 you have the same problem I have from time to time- the anticipatory flinch. I try to correct that by loading, without looking, in random order, my S&W .357 revolver with a combo of spent and live rounds. Seems to help me with the anticipatory "push".

I didn’t realize how sad the handgun releases of this year were until this video.

When you see Black Rock owns most of them and realize bankers are incapable of innovation, it makes sense.

I was in the market for a polymer frame pistol and i love my px4 conceal carry 2. I got the compensator light combo from vantage point armory and it is one of my smoothest running semis i own. I am gonna drop in langdons trigger and trigger bar soon. And send the slide in for an optic cut. I would have never known about the px4 without your video on it, many thanks.

But why didn't Glock do the chassis thing? Could it be that Ruger and Magpul made actual perfection?
@williamryan91952 күн бұрын
Patent maybe. Big Austrian egos in the marketing department is more likely. They have a Midas touch making essentially one product while not even trying to innovate or rock their boat and break out of the mold. Where is the rifle? The Shotgun? The PCR? There is nothing like being in a safe space and still making big money.Why stick your neck out now?

James Reeves I just found out we have so much in common. I to am the middle child of 3 boys to divorced parents. I to am my mothers favorite. The golden child. I to am a cocky arrogant S.O.B. I to am a January baby. Lastly you are almost as handsome as me. Gotta love it. Great list by the way except i don't like the G49. I prefer the 17/47 or 45/19X. Also the P09, as with every CZ, shoots very accurate and flat but yes has a terrible SA trigger.

Beretta is awesome. I love the PX4 LTT, the 92X, even the APX is excellent & the price of the APX, wow! Glock is always good, I like my G17 & G22 Just tried my CZ clone, $228 Sar B6c. Can’t wait to shoot it.
