We have a 2021 Q7 with the V6. Its been a terrific vehicle for us and I can attest to the towing - we tow our boat to the lake from the city a couple times a year. Two negatives we have noted is the extreme lack of storage space for front row passengers - no place to even set your phone down; and, the adaptive cruise is too quick to slow the car down when entering different speed zones (super annoying and possibly dangerous in traffic). Otherwise the ride and driving experience are top notch. It looks like the changes for 24 are very minimal based on the video, so I would find one a couple years old on the used market and be super happy with it.

I always remember my driving experience with Audi, it was a perfect balance of the sports of BMW and the luxury of Mercedes, seems to still be that way, thanks Roman!

Love my 2020 Q7 - great power, perfect size to still city drive, crazy quiet. It's about perfect to be honest, strong towing. Another great features is the seats fold 100% flat on both rows! It's massive back there with them down

We have a 2017 Audi Q7 which has been a good vehicle. Interestingly, we got a 2023 loaner Q7 from the dealer while our car was getting serviced, and my wife started feeling car sick using the infotainment system. She have to look down too far to use the newer designed screens. Also, newer turbo V6 does not deliver power as smoothly as the older supercharged engine. Lesson for us is to make sure we both do a thorough test drive of any new vehicle fore buying.

I have the 2017 as well. Very smooth and powerful supercharged v6. 👊🏽

I agree with the power delivery being better with the supercharged engine than the turbo. Just replaced my 2018 Q7 with the 25 and the difference in the sport mode is noticeable.

You get used to using the AC control screen without looking. You can slide your finger up and down to adjust temp rather than tapping. You can do gestures alike pinching to sync the zones.

Didn't realize that Q7 standard motor is the same one as GTI's 2.0 turbo. That is one heavy car to use a 2.0 turbo.

Yup it’s the EA888. It’s fine for the Q5, but in the Q7 - that’s a stretch.

Roman I have always appreciated the reviews from TFL and in particular you and your son. I have a 2019 Audi Q7 3.0T with the supercharged V6 and I absolutely love the vehicle. I entertained the idea of purchasing a new one but mine is still in mint condition, smooth as butter and tight as a drum with only 57k miles. Every time I take it to the dealer for routine oil changes the sales associates remark that it looks showroom new and offer to put me in a 2025. Hard to believe that after nearly 6 years of ownership I still love driving my Q7. Only my 2003 allroad comes close. I find it ironic when reviewers say that the Q7 is dated. Well, it isn't. It has simply aged well.

That's a slick car. Always liked Audi plus you gave nice review of the q7. I'm going looking for 1.

Awesome Video! that Audi is sweet,I really like the color combo and the overall stance of the car, just visited that part of Utah and the lake is beautiful, Utah is such a cool state a lot different than Oregon.

Nice 2025 Q7 review Roman. You had the road around that lake all to yourself. Unlike here in Cali where there’s automobiles everywhere, someone going too slow or someone on your tail. Would love to carve a twisty road all to myself. Looking forward to your Volvo XC90 review.

Nice review Roman,Audi has always done a premium job on their upper models like the Q7 or the A8, BMW makes many claims and their execution still doesn't hold a candle to a luxurious Audi and mechanically the Audi is a better vehicle and needs fewer parts replacement in the first 80k miles and parts are more widely available for the Audi group of automobiles,$88k is a fair price for it also 👍

I miss my 17 4m supercharged stage 1 APR Q7 Exclusive Edition (had everything except the B&O)-I loved everything about it!-Especially the sepang blue paint color which is rare. What I don't miss is the eye watering cost on tires,anxiety of no spare tire (not even a donut size),alignments (due to air suspension and rear wheel steering),expensive large windshield replacements(where I reside, rock chips and cracks are a norm that aren't covered by insurance) recalibration cost when radar sensors are "somehow" misaligned.When I choose another Q7, it'll be w/o air suspension,20 size wheels and no HUD - basically less extra electronic features for less electrical gremlins and easy on the wallet

SURELY they could have found a better way to hide the radar sensors in the front. Really takes away from the look

I remember loving this cars and saying that big luxury SUV's would be the future of the car industry... Well, SUV's are the car industry, but luxury cars are expensive, heavy and they drink too much gas oil energy, its a no for me. Long days from my first generation X5 manual diesel, amazing car.

Personally, I couldn't care less about soft close doors. A heavy, solid, thud says luxury to me
@ronaldlamascus19444 ай бұрын
Love the soft close doors! So much easier for older folks to just pull the door close and let it finish closing itself than trying to pull a heavy door shut especially on inclines.
@fourthburrito45793 ай бұрын
You can still close the door with a solid thud. The soft close is only if you don’t larch it all the way. I honestly think it’s more luxurious to let the soft close do its thing. 😅

Audi is a brand that you should strictly lease for 24 months and dump it on the 25th month. Don’t even think about buying an Audi, it is a disastrous decision. The engine will literally bleed oil and blow up once you get comfortable with the thought of owning them 😂
