I'm very surprised and overwhelmed by idea bringing Buhanka from Russia to USA (I'm from Russia, Siberia, Novosibirsk). And moreover by idea of swapping V8 into Buhanka (and how V8 almost perfectly fits into frame and engine bay). Waiting for next series :-)

I would definitely use a persuasion hammer on the headers to get a little more clearance, along with some high heat tape & sound insulation around the entire doghouse and bulkhead area. Love seeing David on the channel again. Build looks good so far!

David, what about a hitch mounted ladder? Use a receiver extension as a base and weld angled square tube to offset it to the left. Yes it would be a little loosey-goosey but put a rattle-eliminating bolt through a welded on captured nut and it would eliminate rattles while on the road. It could even incorporate a fuel can holder and backup light on it.
