Awesome vid Tommy as usual. I am looking forward to the Rib Cook with this glaze as I mentioned in your FB Group, for a chain restaurant - the JD ribs and shrimp was one of my favs....Can't wait to watch that rib vid and then try to replicate it for the fam. For all those out there who have the 560/1050 and havent linked up with Tommy's FB group page, you should. Lots of good stuff there and a ton of great people. I am a 100% noob to the bbq game and they welcomed me with open arms. There's a ton of good info there along with all kinds of cook options to try....

Tommy Like this vid! But, at 4:00, you said "...2/3 cup of water twice..." and at 4:40, you said "...1 and 1/3 cup of dark brown sugar twice...". What does 'twice' mean? Your recipe calls for just 2/3 cup water and 1-1/3 cup dark brown sugar. What am I missing?
@thegalleryBBQ4 жыл бұрын
PHS Good catch. Follow this recipe nd be amazed. Ingredients list must be followed. 1 head of garlic 1 tablespoon olive oil 2/3 cup water 1 cup pineapple juice 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 1/3 cups dark brown sugar 3 tablespoons lemon juice 3 tablespoons minced white onion 1 tablespoon Jack Daniels Whiskey 1 tablespoon crushed pineapple
@reycsmma3 жыл бұрын
He's doubling his recipe in this video. Everything was doubled. That's why he said twice for the water and dark brown sugar.

I liked mine a little thicker so I thickened it slightly with a cornstarch water mixture.

It'll also thicken with cooking it down more. I was using the one batch for 4 cooks so I left it thinner. I hope you like it!

Hey Tommy how long do you think you can keep the sauce in the fridge before it goes bad?

Im thinking 1 week. :).... Although it never lasts that long:)... Thanks brother.
@johnnewell88074 жыл бұрын
Tommy. Can hardly wait to make this in the morning and wings later. Want to double it. How long do you think it would last in fridge? Do you think you could freeze it? I love your work and my 1050!!
@thegalleryBBQ4 жыл бұрын
Not sure on the freezing. That said, trust me. you'll keep using until its gone.
@BRTardiff3 жыл бұрын
Great video! Quick question though… what’s happening after the water/sugar/teriyaki/soy etc and before adding the garlic/onion/pineapple/JD etc? Are you letting the first ingredients simmer while you smash the garlic? Or, heat off until you’re ready to add “round two” of ingredients? Thanks!

Funny, I have been watching your channel well before I bought my 560 and to be able to connect through the group has been cool. One question, how do you think that would turn out if you roasted the garlic on the grill instead? You may have to try that, if I don't try this great looking recipe first. Thanks for sharing.
@thegalleryBBQ4 жыл бұрын
Ian, the garlic would come out awesome roasting on the pit. LMK when you do it. Im looking forward to these Jacked up cooks I'm about to do.
