"Fairy Tail Zero" follows the founder of the fairy tail guild (the blonde girl with the wing like adornments around her ears) and we get to see the history of the guild and how everything started. It's a flash back arc put into the series to answer questions and link up to current events in the main story.

Some points to clarify: 1. Fairy Tail is the name of the main characters magic guild. Each member has a tatoo symbolizing the guild they are a member of. 2. The cats are a race of aliens that tend to befriend people that have been trained by dragons. 3. The "power of friendship" is a legitimate thing in universe. The tattoos each member has is magical, and by channeling your feelings of kinship/friendship you can get powered up or even protected from attacks. 4. The Fairy Tail anime came out in 2009 5. Fairy Tail likes to utilize every one. It isnt like other anime ( Naruto or Dragon Ball ) that throws away all the side characters after a few arcs.

It's more like their magic is directly fueled by their emotions and their spirit. So the stronger your heart and feelings are, the stronger your magic becomes. The concept of using the tatoos to channel energy and create links came about really late in the story and personally it just felt like some bs to let Erza beat Irene herself despite the fact that dragons can only be hurt by dragon magic. As for Tenrou island's blessing it only works on the island so it is irrelevant on a daily basis.

The story is being told by someone (gold hair girl) about her time with this guild. The main character (pink hair), not his name but his Nickname is Salamander which You said and I found it funny that you guessed that by accident. He is a fire dragon slayer, he gets his magic from being taught by a fire dragon/his father figure

Ah yes, the anime that showed it's preview on animax and caught my eye with the magic circles and made me search up anime. Objectivity be damned, this shits a masterpiece, made me cry and bawl out to my favorite characters. Which I think the show excels at because the story may be wonky but you gotta love coming back to the guild that feels like your part of it, it's a beautiful family I'm glad I experienced. I got a bit older when the last season and watched more anime before it too so I noticed the difference in overall quality drop but I was already too attached to the characters that I couldn't exactly hate it even tho I meme on it 😭. Even today I read the 100 years quest manga just to get my fill of the characters. This still brings back warm memories that I also shared with my cousin, such fun times. Also the openings *never fucking miss* man!!! If there's one thing you can't bash on Fairytail, it's this. And not even kidding..I have it all memorized..in order.. cuz I come back to it from time to time for comfort and it's on a comp and it's literally just one big song in my head 😭

Fairy Tail is such a great anime and unlike any other shonen, it has no particular protagonist. It's like the entire Fairy Tail guild is the protagonist of the show and it makes it sooo unique. I've watched soo much anime and fairy tail was my second anime after Naruto but still, no other anime has ever beaten the first spot that fairy tail has in my heart hehe.

The main story of Fairy Tail has finished (both the manga and anime). However, the official sequel that continues where the main story left off is ongoing in manga form. It's called "Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest". Hopefully it'll be adapted into anime once the manga has enough chapters for studios to work with.

The group in itself have more of a slice of life kinda vibe, they're a guild and the guild itself doesn't really have a "goal", the other guilds in general are mostly trying to be the best guild in the country or something like that but Fairy Tail is already doing that without trying. As for the members individually it's quite diverse, some members actually have a precise goal while some others are just going with the flow, trying to forget their past or simply just living life as it comes.

To simply put it, Fairytail is the name of the guild. The main characters are all wizards who go on quests to make their living and etc. They all have magic but different abilities. The tatoo are like there way of showing which guild they belong to and more. It’s a long show and just like one piece or Aot it’s has a lot of questions that will all come together later in the show. It’s got emotional moments, feel good, funny, friendship, love, heartfelt, sadness, empathy, and over all and amazing show. It’s hits you good, and if you watch u will love it

fairy tail's friendship power makes sense, they have magic in that world and magic comes from love , therefore the stronger your feelings the stronger you magic can be (of course that's not always the case and there are power differences between characters but in certain cases where the fight is tough it basically goes to whoever's magic is stronger therefore their motivations ) I like that because it makes sense unlike in DBZ where people scream and get stronger or one piece where it's literally the power of "nakagama" (friendship), also fairy tail is VERY emotional and has A LOT of plot twists that you don't even see coming, way better than shounen of that time (naruto, dbz ...) when it comes to the story and plots between characters, also without contest it has the strongest female characters in all shounen .

Wow, i am surprised at much you guessed correctly! Ive seen so many Reactions to the Openings and most dont get that Fairy Tail is not just the Name of the Show but an actual Guild, that Fairy Tail Zero is an own Arc (hence the Focus on different Characters) or that they all have the same Tattoo/ that the Tattoo is their Guild Sign. The Characters may seem a lot but when watching the show its totally okay! They are mostly either the sole Villain or Villain Guild of the Arc (since sometimes its whole Guilds there suddenly is a bunch of new characters in an opening, but they get introduced really well) or part of the Main Guilds (Some of them may be shown better in later Openings so they seem new, but except for the blue haired Girl they were Part of the Show from the Beginning and each one gets their own Moment to Shine). If you ,iked the Music i recommend for you to listen to the Instrumental Themes of the Show. They are from the same Guy who made tha Naruto Themes and i loooooove them a lot! They are the cherry on top and make me laugh, cry or be hyped even more.

Nobody in the final opening was new. The person you mistaked as new was Guildarts the strongest member of Fairy tail. Its a good watch even with all of the people saying it relied too much on the power of friendship which isnn't completely true. The power of friendship is present but its rarely why the mcs win if you dig deeper into their abilities.

can't really tell you the goal as it does spoil it, however, I can say this. Each arc has multiple openings and each arc holds a different goal. In fact even one of them is about an entire different time entirely.

The power of friendship thing was mostly blown out of proportion by bandwagoning and lack of reading comprehension. Emotions are directly tied to magic in the series people that learn magic have to be in a certain state of mind to absorb the magic particles into their bodies from the air the MC flames are controlled by his emotions for instance. The power system does not contradict it's self despite what people like to say nothing that was set up at the beggining was contradicted later on. all of the fight outcomes have in universe reasoning for them that people refuse to listen to. unfortunately most people rather declare explaining fights using in universe logic as "fanboyism" rather than blindly agreeing with "criticism."

Fairy Tail Zero is the start of the timeline, hence “Zero” it’s how the guild was started and how the actions of one lonely girl made a family among misfits and the impact of herself on the main antagonist and world of the whole show 👍

the guy that grinned in the final opening is the human form of Acnologia that black dragon that kept appearing from time to time. he's known as the black dragon of the apocalypse and is by far the strongest villain fairytail faces even with every other dragon slayer working together it's a hard fight and at that point Acnologia is only fighting with one arm. Don't know if you have ever watched Dragon Ball Z but if Acnologia went up against a character like Freeza he would probably win in under 5 seconds flat might even have the kind of strength to even defeat a character like Goku (Maybe)

I would say their goal is survival to put it bluntly/simply. You won't really be able to follow the story that much because each arc probably gets 1-2 openings as a glance basically.

For the main group up till arc 5 Natsu is the fire dragon slayer as the name suggests he uses fire based magic Lucy the blonde haired girl is a celestial spirit wizard her magic uses keys to open gateways that summon specific spirits associated to those keys Gold being zodiac spirits (there are 13 not 12 as we have in this series) and silver being less powerful and more common. Grey uses Ice based creation magic he has the ability to create anything out of ice including like Sub Zero decoys of himself Erza the girl dressed in armor uses reequip as her magic and has the ability to not only change her outfit but also weapons and can do so faster than anyone else who uses the same type of magic (and ya she is powerful she can beat Natsu and Grey with just 1 hit in the earlier arcs) Characters that sometimes join the main group are Gangeel the Iron dragon slayer who is one of the main bad guys in I believe arc 2 and later joins fairytail and Wendy the sky dragon slayer who uses wind based attacks and more importantly to the group also has the ability to use healer type spells.

Maybe I’m a bit late. So.. there is no goal at the beggining, but some characters introduced later are very important in the plot, like Zeleph (the antagonist), Mavis (The guild fundator), and E.N.D. (The most famous and dangerous Demon). Next to that it’s basically about guilds and dragons.

the tournament arc- or grand magic games as it's officially called- fairy tail had two teams for themselves because they bent the rules XD no other guild knew they could have two, it was an advantage for the guild

The Zero arc is the origin of the fairy tail guild's founding. The blonde girl with the wing ornaments was the first master, and her ghost watches over the guild and its members, with said members being the only ones who can see her.
