Please continue Malifaux 3 content. There is almost no one doing these. My son and I are getting back into Faux since playing in it's original release years ago. V3 seems well balanced and nicely streamlined as best as it can be. Thanks for posting this.

Want to find the perfect master for you? Check out this playlist: kzbin.info/aero/PLVHePoEFMrsX3ydMzx8J0zLVGVRDYwN2v [Remember, lots of info in the description!] Phew, what a labour of love this one was!! I'll likely add info to the description as time goes on to keep it up to date but hope that this is useful for anyone looking to get into the game! Apologies if my nomenclature is weird in places, when you solo a video you end up rephrasing things to stave off the insanity!! I know the audio isn't great but I had just moved and hadn't worked out how to offset the high ceiling and bare walls yet! If any rules are wonky I'm sure people will comment below, but welcome to anyone picking up this great game - there's plenty more I can cover in the future such as summoning and terrain but this should see you right for now. See you in the next batrep!!

Thank you very much for your work. It helped me a lot. And you made this tutorial in a way, which wasn't boring at any time. Thank you.

PS: Maybe it would be a good idea to have an overlay in a top corner to keep track of the turns and phases (eg. Startphase, action phase, etc.) Because I personally lost track of the phases and turns sometimes due to the amount of information, which is packed in this video. Cheers

Thanks so much for this instructional master class. As someone who is just starting to learn about Malifaux and it's mechanics this is really unsurpassed in it's ability to teach a somewhat confused beginner. I have watched this several times and continue to learn new things every time. Thanks again.

I have a question on the engagement ranges. Say I have an engagement range of 0" melee, and the enemy next to me has 1". He is engaging me but I'm not engaging him. How do I attack him? I can't charge or walk while engaged right? so do I need to disengage?
@tabletopandgaming4 жыл бұрын
You can't walk OUT of engagement, but you can walk up to him and attack. As long as you don't leave the engagement range you can freely walk within it. ☺

Curious why you kept the black Joker in hand rather than discard?
@tabletopandgaming4 жыл бұрын
A habit of players is to keep hold of it until the start of turn 5, that way it can never hurt you. You're seeing that habit here. ☺
@mattj18714 жыл бұрын
@@tabletopandgaming thanks. Still watching Turrn 2 and forgot from end of T1 is you don't have to discard your whole hand. Cool beans.
@antscymru4 жыл бұрын
@@mattj1871 If you flip the black joker you can't cheat, so it can spoil a really important attack, its great to keep this out of your deck.
