this is unironically the best series on youtube. it's so good. I don't care about the majority of these games in a vacuum but the content and the editing here are both just top notch and I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for the next one every time

This channel is great. The host seems to be so genuinely in his element and isn't trying to put on any sort of act, it's refreshing. I glossed over this channel a few times after seeing the "Beating every N64 game" series, but once I gave it a try, I was hooked. I can't imagine how cool that'll feel once you finish them all and look back thinking "wow I beat every game and essentially documented it all on video", that's a lot of time and dedication and will help you achieve even greater projects down the line! Hopefully you're saving all these videos somewhere... I don't know that they'll stay on YT forever.

I remember one of my friends asked me if I snowboard and I just happened to be playing this game at the time and for some reason correlated this game with real life, so I told my friend Yes 😂 He asked what type of board I have and remember instantly saying “I only use Alpine boards” 😂😂 He had a large hill near his house and we went one winter and I remember being so embarrassed when I realized I actually didn’t know how to snowboard in real life 😂🤦🏻♂️ I was in like 3rd grade

I played the hell out of this game with my siblings when I was a kid and have so much nostalgia. I forgot all about some of the insane (but interesting) design choices, like the ski lift, parachute, etc. I always thought it was fun to use the ice board, just because it's so bad, it actually feels like trying to snowboard on ice. One of those things they throw into games just for fun. One thing you missed is that after beating the Ninja course, you unlocked Shinobin (the ninja) as a playable character! I guess they didn't tell you about that, and you didn't try playing another race, so you didn't notice.

I'm not sure if it was this one or snowboard kids 2, but I am pretty sure you can use the invisible board to dodge bomb explosions (and also those plates that fall from the sky and hit everyone). Basically the invisible board is invincibility. Also I thought you could shoot bombs backwards, but that might also be snowboard kids #2. As you can tell I mostly played snowboard kids 2, though #1 is pretty fun too and even better in some ways I would say.
