My best/worst shiny hunting experience was in Let's Go Pikachu. I was hunting for a shiny Farfetch'd because Sirfetch'd was revealed and I wanted to know what Shiny Sirfetch'd looked like. I chained 30 Pidgey (2 of them shiny), I used the despawning technique, ran into every Farfetch'd that spawned, for a week straight. No shiny Farfetch'd. On day 8, I considered giving up. I was about to close the game, when something amazing happened. I found a SHINY CHARIZARD! I nearly had a heart attack. It was an opportunity that I couldn't pass up on. I had to use my Master Ball. That was when I decided to quit shiny hunting for a while. (His name is Obsidian btw)

Have you tried Sun and Moon? The chance is 1:4000 there and if you complete the Pokédex (300 Pkm) you'll get a shiny charm! The method is also pretty easy with chaining. Or in Let's Go Eevee/ Pikachu chances are pretty high too, cause you see many pokémon on the map at once.
