I watched your renovation of your bathroom again. It looks really nice. Now I am watching this video of your kitchen. A lot of girls your age, would like to go out mix with friends, and have a good time. You are so different. I am glad you have your head on your shoulders, and you are doing things around the house to keep your Mum and yourself happy. One day I will show your videos to my grand kids, and tell them. It is okay for young lady's to plan and do things around the house. One thing I can say my 2 girls [grand daughters] their rooms are spotless. I am proud of them.I am fuzzy about my house too. Sai We call a little structure that is normally used for storage in America, which is normally in the backyard, a storage shed. The kitchen looks great. As someone already mentioned, you should put some tile part of the way up the wall next to counter. We call it a back splash in America and it keeps wall next to counter looking nice. Plus it is easier to clean.

You should cut a 3" high granite skirting and lay along the kitchen top wall. It'll look neat and beautiful. And it'll prevent water from seeping especially at the kitchen sink area. Use silicon to seal after laying the side skirting too to waterproof it.

9:28 the design of those older style houses is for natural ventilation to come in and out of the house. It allows cool air to come in. A simple solution without blocking the ventilation is just to put on screens. It'll stop even the mosquitoes.

@@Mishmash63 For that part of the world and culture, it's really very nice. It's just been built so give her time to organize her task flow to how she cooks. I've been a chef for 55 years and have built many kitchens, all needing fine tuning over time.

I would build a closet with shelves in the corner and add a small door to put your extras in. Instead of building another storage space outside. If you’re going to keep dry foods in it it’s called a pantry. Build a shelf under the sink for your pots and pans to keep them off the floor. You did great with your kitchen. Really looks nice. 👍

Hi Sai. Love your cat really nice coloring. Don't cover up on the air holes that they put cement in to keep out bugs. You can just put fine mesh screen to cover holes. That way you can have fresh air. You have a relaxing voice to listen to. Keep up the good videos. I like these contractors better. I remember the bad ones you had before. They will build up a reputation as being bad company to do work with. This time these guys are excellent.

Congratulations on your new kitchen. A nice modern addition to your home. Finishing touches will be important: suggestions from me 1) put tiles above the worktop, plain white will make the worktop stand out even more. Tiles are much easier to keep clean and a lot tougher than paint. It will look and stay super clean for years. Make sure to use silicone sealant between the worktop and tiles 2) if not tiles use sheets of brushed stainless steel as your splashback 3) you can paint above the tiles or steel 4) in the cupboards under the sink and burners you need some shelves to double your storage space 5) additional tall cupboards with doors at the far end to hide things away and protect from dust etc. and keep the kitchen looking uncluttered 6) one spot light in the kitchen will not be enough particularly at night. You'll need one or two more above the cooking and sink area or a fluorescent light strip to cover this area 7) the waste pipes under the sink looked too long as they looped down too low before they connected to the main U bend. Water and waste food in particular will settle at the bottom of the bends causing smells or blockages over time. However I could be wrong as you were very quick with the camera so didn't get a great look at them! Where are the gas bottles to be located, outside? Happy adventures in your new kitchen !

I liked all of it. from start to finish. The men u hired to do the work are really good at what they do. When he knocked the hole in wall for the door, i said what is he doing? i was amazed the way they put that door in after the wall was built. totally caught me by surprise. Great video, really enjoyed it. You should put some wall tiles around your kitchen top, will look nice and easier to clean. Also instead of using concrete to block air holes in walls use wire mesh like used in mosquito doors to the keep bugs.

I love your channel! Very entertaining! You make it interesting to watch. Great job with your new kitchen; I really like the countertop and the stove with the big window right there to see the beautiful countryside. Good idea to cement those ventilation holes in the wall, too! My friends house in Trinidad has many openings. Snakes can come from the ground level and birds fly in too, she says it's ok because they fly back out! haha Lots of mosquitos too!! You have to sleep under a net!! Good job Sai! The counter top really is stunning....well worth the extra $50 usd. There are little differences in daily life from country to country but I thought it interesting that cats are the same all over. Every time I start any kind of project mine is right there getting in the way!

There is a reason why in a lot of American kitchens we do not do black tile. You will see water spots everywhere on the tile. But a way to remove the water spots is to use a 50/50 mix of vinegar water mix.

Great job, Sai.....but I don't think you really need that kitchen door. It only makes it a hassle closing/opening it especially when bringing in/out bulky stuff/food. In fact I would have love for that barrier/door between the new kitchen and the the next rooms widen up,....to make your house seem look wider/bigger visually. Just my opinion, of course.

Great job Sai, glad to see you are getting there, its good that you put in the cost at the end of the video, I had to seriously look at them twice . I have been doing a lot of major work to my kitchen here in the UK. I am fortunate that I can do most of the work myself, even so, with the amount of building work you have had done labour costs material and so on from my experience so far I think I can safely say the cost would easily be three times what it is in your country possibly even more. Nice kitchen though, do like your choice of worktop , great colour. Good luck for the future hope it`s not too long before you guys get back together. Best wishes Mike.
