Thai language isn't hard in grammar, but hard in tone of word. The melody of word will make foreigners confuses easily. But don't worry if you guys come to Thailand and try to communicate with ppl in Thai, every with help and Thai ppl love the foreigners who try to speak in Thai

I love you're cooking videos, as well as your language classes. They're short, sweet, and complete. Considering that I live here in Thailand, these phrases are excellent for me to begin with. It's so important that we all try to learn the basics, to show respect to our host country and people. The Thai people have been awesome family and I, and I'm happy to reciprocate that.

Thanks for this video! My friend traveled to Thailand for this first time in February and has been corresponding with a woman he met while there. I’ve been trying to teach him some phrases but you’ve summed everything up perfectly. For yes/no questions, I sometimes just answer with a “ka” as a positive acknowledgement of the question. Mainly this is when speaking to my parents or their friends, but as you said, it’s situational. Looking forward to more language videos!

@@nitinchamroo5748 Normally Thai guys use the word "Krub" no matter what they talk to any gender but some use "Kha" when they talk to girls whom they view as a child or someone they have to protect and/or take care. I do too. Mostly with my niece or some younger friends in case I want to show my kindness or to show them support/encouragement. But warn you most Thai girls think that guy who use "Kha" with girls is a flirt.

The explanation for there being no "please" was very useful. I've been looking for this for a while! I'm a big fan of your cooking videos and have been cooking Thai meals from your recipes for 6 months (7 days a week). You make cooking very easy - so I'm interested in your language videos too, as I am also learning. It would help if you could include the Thai script too - as I'm trying to avoid romanised versions of the words! Looking forward to the next video :)
