My neice was 33 yrs old, she passed away due to covid and was in the hospital alone. Her husband and her would come visit for a week and would go back home to Oregon, everytime she leaves us we hug each other for a long time, not wanting to let go. We never want to say good bye to each other. Now she is really gone and this song really explains how my heart felt when she pass. Thank you Thai for such a beautiful song.

I went back to listen to the original version and both versions had its own feel. I feel like this version hit me as an adult, more mature goodbyes. The piano version is slower and has it’s feel too. Love your work.
