This is one of my favorite The Sounders songs ever! The lyrics are just freaking awesome. I loved that throaty, blue-sy feel that the original had in it. I remember hearing it the first time and the voice just grabbed me! I imagine it was super hard on your voice which is why you omitted it this time around. I STILL have yet to hear anything remotely close to this song from Hmoob musicians, that's how much ahead of the time you and The Sounders were! This acoustic guitar version is nice as well. Keep em coming! edit - just wanted to add that this song is what made me a Sounders fan. Yes, I listened to the party favorites like 1000 miles and Lub Paj Rose but this song, this song elevated Sounders to artistry for me.

I am a fan. I am a fan from day 1 back in the 90's. Keep on rocking Thai! When Sounders first came out I never really thought you guys will be the first and the last of our generation to really represent Hmong professional musicians in America. The younger generations behind us just didn't quite speak the Hmong language anymore. Therefore, they lost their identity in their music. I guess Hmong people are no different than the Chinese and Japanese after 200 years in America they no longer speak their language.
