People need to practice being a good pad holder just as much as they train their strikes 🙌

Excellent explanation of moving around like in real life….. Most times they want you to stay static, while the striker moves and adjusts but realistically BOTH players have and are going to move Thank you

how to hold pads for knee without belly shield?
@ssdNOWify9 ай бұрын
Forearms to the belly, top pad at an angle so the knee doesn't get over the pad. View from the side: straight lines are the pads )/ )l

What do you mean by "clearing" in the knee strike section of the video? 'If you can clear them, bring the foot down... etc'

Another great video. Nice refresher on properly holding pad with some nice fine tuned details. Question: Is there a way to signal for the hook vs the elbow without using verbal? Or just working together and knowing which to throw at right distance (ie elbow close, hook further away)
@KMAAcademy20209 ай бұрын
Great Question, the hook is slightly out more however once you establish rapport w the student it’s much easier to distinguish! Thanks for watching 🙏✅
