For a basic drive through wash here in Las Vegas, I pay $9.00. They will detail the tires and dry the car, but that is about it. they don't touch the interior. I was really impressed to see how meticulous they were with the undercarriage and engine compartment. I don't think I've seen an automated car wash over there either. When Tuk got here, I drove into the car wash and she was mesmerized as the car glided through it. I don't think that she had ever seen one.

With that kind of service at that price why would anyone want a drive through. No idea either what that costs now but I'll bet $4.50 won't cover it, and the end product is a wet dirty vehicle. Reminded me of driving past a church on a Sunday morning in northern Alberta and doing a double take the parking lot had at least a 100 pickup trucks. Was that sugarcane growing behind the car wash?

+Dale Calder Yes sugar cane, It should be ready to harvest around the end of the year, Normally when the rice is finished then they well move on to sugar. Not much money in sugar, Even less then rice . Most people only grow it for a year or 2 and realize they were doing better with rice, But every year a bunch more people give it a try.

Good job! I remember we used to have ours washed in central plaza when we were shopping in khon kaen and it always looked sparkling squeaky clean :) until we drove back to visit isaree's parents in mahasarakham and it was back to being as bad as ever! Lol

Nice informative as always! These kind of car washers normally do a great job. But a few of them might be too hard with the high pressure water and destroy or degrade details in the engine and car body it self, like plastic details and stickers.
