I took a community college course, two weeks to get my motorcycle endorsement on my Las Vegas license then got my international DL which allowed me to avoid the test when I got my DL in Chiangmai. The class was invaluable. Keep your head on a swivel 🙏

You're so right. Riding a scooter and a motorbike is completely different. I have a HD in Sydney, and a 125 scooter in Hua Hin.

Can't agree more with Nathan regarding driving a scooter in Thailand. Totally different than the west and easy to go down. Seems like most every Thai I know has battle scars from the road. Me too 🤣

An ambulance ride in our American home was $1000 and that is if they do nothing but transport you to the hospital. $1000 cab ride. 😡

Today I am flying out from Copenhagen to Bangkok, it’s 7 months since i met my family, and i am missing them like crazy. Riding motorcycle or scooter I only do it on smaller island as that is more convenient but have all license, scooter insurance coverage and don't drink or other illegal drugs as that disqualify for coverage. In most major tourist town from Bangkok and others you have Bhat bus, scooter taxi, taxis, MRT/BTS then add cheap Grab/Bolt app using these are safer especially if you plan to drink on the nights out.

Awesome video To bad the guy got hurt But what other country could you be in that that whole thing would be less than a 100 dollars That’s crazy Once when I was in Thailand I broke two ribs my bill at a hospital was about 20 dollars That included X-rays pain killers ect I didn’t even bother to put that thought my travel insurance But one when I was in Hawaii the wife of a friend of mine who we were travelling with got a nice urinary infection that was $1500 USD Lol

Great vlog as usual. It’s no wonder that your subscribers want to visit you and Gift. Y’all are “victims” of your channel’s popularity. I’m now a little hesitant visiting Thailand despite the very reasonable costs for emergency medical care in a govt hospital due my pre existing cardio😢 vascular medical conditions. I’m still looking for a travel insurance plan that will cover such conditions.

Please don't drive in Asia. I've been coming to Thailand and currently live in Philippines and travel the region. I don't drive in Asia. Your an accident waiting to happen and a diamond mine for the locals! It's always the the foreigner fault and will pay and if anyone dies....omg what a mess. It's better now with the ride apps...used to have to take som lar pochii papasan driver....hehe. I get around just fine ..no gas car or worries
