Songkran 2024 is ALMOST upon us. The absolute BIGGEST party in Thailand, and the largest water fights in the world. Songkran is an, experience to say the least. Whether you're laying low in an Isaan village, or in the heart of Bangkok you WILL be involved whether you like it or not. And while Songkran 2024 is for sure set to be a great time, there are a few things you should know to enjoy the festivities as best you can and stay safe!

Will be there Tuesday for my first Songkran. I will be staying right in the middle of Central Pattaya just for that reason. I can just walk everywhere for the most part.

How long do the water fights last for this year? I was planning on visiting for 1 day of it, then enjoying staying dry.

Im really not sure. It's different in different places usually. Last year here in Pattaya they lasted for a full week. But I know it was only a few days in Bangkok. I would plan for at least 3 days realistically wherever you are. Thanks for watching!

If you are ready for it and dress appropriately it's not bad. Especially with it being so hot!
