For me at least accomodation is the most important part of the trip, and with Thailand I booked a luxury self service apartment for £250 for 14 nights. And even that is still unreal cheap when compared to £60 for one night in a standard London hotel room after the flight back home...

Amazed you found a hotel in London for that price,did you check it had a roof ?Cheapest I could find nr Heathrow was 135 GBP,which of course didnt include the cost of a taxi to/from the airport so probably another 40 GBP min.on top,had bad reviews too so stayed in the airport all night instead. Why anybody visits the UK,unless expenses are being paid ,is a mystery to me everything is so expensive.

@@robertosborne7542 Radisson hotel and conference centre in Heathrow was the one I booked, and has a shuttle bus run 8am - 10pm to and from the terminals I think for £6?? But yeah, I hear ya.. I've booked a lot worse for a lot higher, and that's going back like 5 years ago!

@@punk4life437 G Residence in south Pattaya, about 15 min walk from the centre it says, there is 2 beds and family rooms available.. I only needed a one bed, and I booked it a while ago so it might be a bit more expensive for yourself... But should still work out a good deal and away from all the noise and commotion but not THAT far away either like if you wanted to join in!

I love Thailand and the people. They are so friendly and they go out of their way to help you and help you learn to speak Thai. I had a great hotel room with a view of the Beach in Patong for $ 19 US. Meanwhile ,I had friends their staying at an “American “ Hotel (big name I won’t mention) for $ 150 per night and they were blocks from the beach.

Cool! Great info and nice look into two rooms of different rates in a beautiful area. The cost per night remind me about how much I used to pay 10 years ago in Florida taking ladies to Motel 6. Wasn’t picking up street walkers or anything, but rather was poor college student couldn’t afford multiple nights at the Orlando resorts. Rather pay $30 a night than $300 a night

Absolutely-Paid around 13GBP for a perfectly acceptable room with fridge/shower/TV nr Suv.airport Bangkok.Near Heathrow the cheapest I could find was around 135 GBP and it had bad reviews too.

I do not mean this mean in anyway but I managed many hotels in Asia in my life in different countries, I found out that in general UK people are quite "cheap" , again, no offense, I only say what I saw, where is the problem in a country where a fives star beautiful hotel is much less than any in the West. But I have to admit that Hotel room was great for the price, you can get that too in Vietnam. Way to go mate.

Yeah there other places with safes in the area if your worried I’d rather keep it on me than in them safes though and just carry what you need a lot of banks don’t charge to withdraw so you don’t have to be carrying much money
