I have a suggestion for a video. I would one about what I call “Ventriloquist” words where your lips don’t move when you speak them, like “tĕung” and “dtàe”. They give me the hardest time and they all sound like you’re groaning or grunting 😊 I don’t see how you are able to tell the difference when someone is speaking fast. If you good make a list of all those types of words and show how to pronounce each one, it would be helpful. Also, you might have already done this, but another useful video would be to cover all of the words which are spelled the same, except for the tone marks, like “maa” and “mâi”. Or consider this sentence: (láang muue gàawn múue aa-hǎa yen = Wash your hands before dinner.), where we have the moderate tone word “muue”, and 2 words later we have the high tone “múue”. How is it possible to differentiate those 2 words for someone who is talking fast? I think this would also make a good video.

Thanks for the lesson. For /yàa bpai yûng rêuuang kŏng káo loiie/, is it correct to add the word "gap" after "yung"? Thanks again!🙏
If a man says “ผมยุ่งมากเลยวันนี้”, would it be ambiguous? As it could mean “I am very busy today” or “My hair is completely disheveled today”. Is that right?

You are right, we have to see the context 😊

If I hear someone say yung in a sentence I would assume they’re talking about Mosquitoes. Words with multiple meanings are hard to wrap my head around.

dton-née pŏm yûng mâak loiie kráp 😊 pŏm yûng mâak loiie sì ná = I'm really busy right now, aren't I? sounds more like someone just becoming aware of or reflecting on their busy state, rather than simply stating it.
