Wow, great interview. Goi is sooo talkative , made me smile, at times you could barely get your questions in. If I had the money I would back her business in a heart beat. Thanks Paddy, lookin forward to the next one!

Great interview. At my level of Thai I could about one word per sentence, but it is great to see someone speak at your level Paddy!

In happy for her that she can call Australia her home. Im living for 18 years in Thailand but i never felt like home. Reasons are immigration, prejudices and ignorance.

I'm sorry to hear that... But you knew that before moving there and that's the main reason I would never move there permanently .... It gets more obvious the older you get that a meaningless smile isnt everything and doesn't pay the bills

Great interview with Goi. I think she may be thinking more in English than Thai because there was quite a few times when she couldn't come up with the right Thai word so substituted in an English word. All good, didn't make her any less natural. Been to Darwin many times, the longest was around 3 weeks, it would be be one of the most laid back places in Australia....... love it but not sure if I could live there!!!!

Goi's hometown of Korat is a great area and city to live or visit. Lived nearby for 10 years ir so and it was easy to feel like home there. Wonderful people there and so friendly and helpful whereas Darwin is more itinerant with people coming and going quickly. A true Thai lady who can make themselves fit-in anywhere. Hope she achieves her goal. The type of immigrant this country of ours needs. Bushyboy Oz.
