Komoka Provincial Park and Sharon's Creek reservoir are good ponds to get out on some flat water. Unfortunately though you have to pay to park at both places now. or you could try Pond Mills or Westminister ponds but I have actually never boated there myself. But my suggestion would just to be to launch at Riverside and Wonderland and paddle up The Thames a bit. @@MikePopovici

When you go solo down a river your only real option is to beg a loved one, haha. I think this time my sister helped me out and picked me up.
