Very wise lady indeed and very wise people, the Jews are, as a nation. They came as refugees in a boat and took over a country and made it theirs by restricting the owners to a mere strip and a few spots of land here and there in the west bank. Of course, when you have the backing of the only nation that can drop an atomic bomb and get away with it, you can do anything.

What an interview!!! She was very wise in her answers…no fear of being criticized… truth needs no defense. Also the the questions asked were straightforward which it is hardly done nowadays because the media now has an agenda in mind and is not true journalism. It would have been so great to have met her personally 😊

I will say however that the questions of the interviewer revealed the generally held bias against the right of Israel to exist as a nation state-the bias that is unseen by the progressive left that denies the small state of Israel its right to exist while there are now some 50+ Arab nation states all around them-hardly makes sense!!

LOL Truth? Golda Meir denied the Nakba ever happened all her life. It was only after she died in the 1980s and 1990s that Israeli military archives were declassified and detailed just some of the atrocities committed by the Zionist militia (Haganah, Irgun and Lehi), as they built their entire country on the blood, land, hopes and futures of the native, indigenous Palestinian people.

What a great interview with a great leader and a great human being! At 16.50 minutes through the interview, what Golda Meir said about the quarrel between Arabs and the Jews, about the hatred that the Arab countries harbour towards Israel still holds good at the end of 2023 when a war is again raging between Israel and Hamas terrorists. Nothing has changed over these years. The animosity between the Palestinians - Arabs- radical Islam and Israel has only increased, it seems.

I don't know if this is true among the Arab people as a whole, but I am happy to hear you say this. It really means a lot. All we ask for is to have this land, the land in which we are indigenous, where our collective identity & religion was shaped, the place we prayed to return to ever since we were kicked out, and a territory that is 500 times smaller than the rest of the Middle East which is the home of Arabs. Most people have never even seen a map of Israel compared to the entire Middle East or even the entire planet. Let's end this already. We'll be happy in our home and you'll be happy in yours. Already, some Arab countries have normalized ties with Israel and welcome Israeli Jews with open arms, and we welcome them into our country. That's how it should be. The Middle East must exit the dark ages of indiscriminate human suffering, with each people earning a place to fulfill their collective dreams. I thank you for speaking out.

This lady is amazing! Intelligent, Quick witted, Resolved, Purposed, with absolutely NO FEAR. She is correct in her views about Palestinians. The Palestinians are a conglomeration of many cultures(Hebrew, Jews, Phillistines, Arameans, Edomites, etc.). There is no distinct ethnic Palestinian people. Matter of Fact when Rome conquered Israel & Jerusalem in135AD, thy renamed it Syria-Palestinia as an insult to the Jewish people. Also this land was promised to the Jews by God in the Old Testament, so they have the most claims to the land than anyone else. The Muslims & Arabs came later during the Muslim conquests and ran the Jews off. In addition, the Jews have been run off several times(Bablyon & Assyrian empires), but they always come back to their home land. So who's land is it?? Genesis 17:8, Genesis 12, Exodus 6:8, Genesis 15:8, Joshua 1:4. This promise was never rescinded.

Long live Golda Meirs’ memory! I hope that she continues to inspire new generations to get involved in our struggle. Although Golda was ONE OF A KIND, as a leader and Prime Minister, I know for sure that there are MANY Golda’s, TODAY, amongst the Jewish women. And we need to follow the HIGHEST of high standards that she has set for us, the coming generations, and do the same for our children, grandchildren, and following generations. The Jewish community is known for having very strong women, we just need to continue fighting on in our struggle, in her memory, and make her proud, like she would’ve wanted. And we need to keep in mind that she did this for us. Am Israel Chai! 💕💕💕🇺🇸🇮🇱🙏🙏🙏

Thankfully the situation has changed in many significant ways that we should acknowledge. Israel is no longer in a state of war with Jordan and Egypt. Syria has become too degraded to pose a risk to Israel. On the other hand Iran has risen has the main force which opposes Israel in the Middle East. Also the Palestinian issue has become more entrenched and radicalized. Israel will overcome these challenges just as they have done in the past.

First of all there has NEVER been a time when Jews did not live here. At times more, at times less. The So Called Palestinians, with the exception of Arafat who was completely Egyptian, were Fedayeen Arab Muslims brought as laborers in the 1800s here to work from the Arab nations. Town were built for their families. They are not the Indigenous people of Israel. There DNA shows that they are from the Arab countries. MY DNA shows that at least from 1500 years ago, my people are from here. Because 23andMe is a Left Wing Organization they say that my Mitochondrial DNA is "Palestinian Jew" from before 1500 years ago. That was during the time of Judea.

lol. Well take this: At a 1956 funeral for an Israeli soldier k!3lled by Palestinians in Gaza, Gen. Moshe Dayan, one of Israel’s most famed military leaders, advised the following: _Let us not cast the blame on the murderers today. Why should we deplore their burning hatred for us? For eight years they have been sitting in the refugee camps in Gaza, and before their eyes we have been transforming the lands and villages, where they and their fathers dwelt, into our estate._ _We are a generation that settles the land and without the steel helmet and the cannon's maw, we will not be able to plant a tree and build a home... Let us not fear to look squarely at the hatred that consumes and fills the lives of hundreds of Arabs who live around us. Let us not drop our gaze, lest our arms weaken. That is the fate of our generation. That is our choice - to be ready and armed, tough and hard - or else the sword shall fall from our hands and our lives will be cut short._

I am guessing you have been watching the world and understand how Jews don't exactly feel safe right now? For us it feels like 1938 Germany. That may mean something to you. It may not. @@skontheroad I would be the first person to stand up for a Jew ( or anyone else ) who is suffering abuse. It is sad and wrong that Jews here are getting abuse for things the state of Israel does. However, if someone supports , for example, the settlements in the West Bank and the way the Israeli State is behaving then they have to accept opposition to those beliefs. I spent two years on and off in Israel in 89 to 91 . I used take eggs to a holocaust survivor ( who had been shot and thrown into a pit ) every morning. The Israelis I knew at the time were lovely. However I travelled around , did a course at the Uni in Jerusalem and visited the West bank on several occasions. I met some truelly racist and bigoted people. What is happening to the Palestinians there is unnaceptable . I don't understand why more good Jews dont stand up and say that it is wrong. Have you been ? I cant take sides in this conflict because what Hamas did on Oct 7th was discusting ( an Israeli mate sent me some of the videos ) but also what Israel has been doing , especially the last 30 years is outragious. I just cant accept that a Jew born in Brooklyn has more right to live in Jerusalem than a non Jew born in Jerusalem. Of course there are people who are just anti Jewish but most fair minded people ( who know the facts ) are not anti semetic but anti Zionist and anti illegal settlements. I'm sorry you are scared. It has never been true. "We have come to conquer a country that is inhabited by another people." - Moshe Sharrte, Israel's second prime minister. "We must expell Arabs and take their place....After we become a strong force as the result of a creation of a state, we shall abandon partition and expand into the whole of Palestine." - David Ben-Gurion, Israel's first prime minister. Zionism demanded Jewish supremacy in Palestine. That could only be achieved by gaining a Jewish majority. Which could only be achieved by ethnic cleansing, apartheid, and the denial of self-determination for the native Palestinians.

Nothing has changed. It's the same double standard now as it was then. Israel is held to a different metric than the rest of the world. What is the true reason for this odd phenomenon? It is that they are ineed different to everybody else: They are the singular people and nation which the Creator of the universe Himself has directly founded, in order to bring forth the Messiah, which He accomplished about 2000 years ago. It is this Creator whom the nations reject, as evidenced by their treatment of His representatives, the children of Abraham via Isaac. Unfortunately, even most Jews do not realize why they have been gathered back into the promised land by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It is because the Dispensation of Grace has come to its end. The 70th Week of Daniel, Jacob's Trouble, The Tribulation, The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord, is at hand, casting its all-engulfing shadow over the earth now, as we speak. May God bless and keep Israel, the apple of His eye. Believe on Jesus Christ, the Israelite King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Root and the Branch of David, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, God the Son, Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, while you can. Time is short.
