I've actually been able to figure out a lot of the notes from this. As far as tabbing it though it's proving difficult. Minus a couple passages I've worked out whats going on but the timing for the notation I do not have. If anyone here has guitar pro and wants to help I do not mind sharing my file. Honestly once you work out one part you pretty much have the general key. From what I can tell the shred parts aren't deviating from the songs key signature of Gm or BbMaj more than a note here and there. Something tells me thought that the shred bit right when switching to distortion is simply the G melodic minor bit from 0:44 embellished a bit

Pretty sure the backing track is "Migawari no Shinnyu" listed as "Substitute Invasion" on the NA release of the End of Evangelion soundtrack. Makes sense at least, since that track is Thanatos without the vocals.
