Appreciation for these lyrics is heightened when we are nowadays drowned in explicit vulgarity. (Do you consent?) Innum thaamadhama (What are you waiting for) First of all the lyrics which beautifully hides the intention of the characters. Second, the inbuilt expectation of respect between the characters denoted in the lyrics - asking for consent in such a beautiful way before the act.
