@@ReactionCheck For those foreigners who see Thanjavur Big Temple (periya koil),It is the pride of Tamil culture and TAmil Architect. There is nothing for India to get pride in this. The reason is political stupidity. We Tamils never ever called ourselves as Hindus. We were shaivities. But Arya Brahmins who migrated to this land 3000 years ago from central Asia through Kyber Bolan pass, have slowly gained power through wickedness. They stole all the Tamil culture , Tamil tradition, Tamil worship, Tamil god's, Tamil language and engraved their own sanskrit symbol to it. Even to pray on Raja Raja Cholan on his birthday in His mother tongue Tamil , we fought legal battle and won it. Other wise only sanskrit will be dominating the temple. We don't need the fucking sanskrit language. Come and ask any Tamil person irrespective of their age, they will slipper the sanskrit here in Tamilnadu. Thanjavur Big Temple is administered by Archeological survey of India ( ASI), which consists of purely Arya Brahmins . ASI has denied permission to bring Raja Raja Cholan's statue into the sanctum Santorum in Thanjavur temple. Statue of the king who built the temple itself is being denied by Arya Brahmins. This is how powerful and wicked now they are. Arya Brahmins even try ing to change Indus valley civilization in to saraswati valley civilization. Indus valley civilization is Tamil civilization and Tamils won't worship saraswati even today. We Tamils are constantly fighting against Aryans/ Brahmins to protect our Tamil language, history, culture, temple , tradition everything from this nomadic Aryan people. INDIA is ruled by Arya Brahmins since it's independence. So we won't give our pride to Arya Brahmins. We are not dravidians, we are not Hindus. We are Tamils. The world's first race, who speak world's first language. For all foreigners , who wish to know Tamil culture call us by Tamils. We are not dravidians, or indians or Hindus by race. My dear Asaad anna(elder brother) a big SALUTE for u........ That song was sung by Seerkazhi Govindharajan and an another male voice with Varalakshmi amma. Its not TMS sir. Yes we couldn't see the shadow of this tower's peak in this ground. The colour of the construction also looks so nice under sunlight. In India we can see the paintings in the temples stones still it was good bcoz of the mixture of colors with some type of leaves. But this paintings are very special in our south side. My only worry is the great emperor who built this big temple and visiting by the people all over the world who hasn't have a tomb for him. Still his death was a mysterious one. But no one will be our great Arulmozhi Varman.

There is a reason for the dancers to have paid tribute to the temple& SriRajaRaja Chozhan. It is because in one of its hidden corridors the temple documents the 108 karnas or postures of the BharataNatyam classical style of dancing. This discovery was a big boost to further the knowledge extant of Bharatanatyam. The dancer , Dr.Padma Subrahmanyam, standing in the forefront, is a doyen in this dance form, was the one who first made the discovery when she was researching for her phd thesis, & brought it to light, as also the frescoes!

Where an idol of both god and godess made up of panchalogam(5 metals mixture) will be taken around the streets, by doing so we are trying to express about the pain and sorrows of people directly to god, thereby would get an immediate relief from them. Asad there r many such beautiful temple in india for eg, somnath temple of gujrat which was destroyed by afghans ruler ghaznavi and allauddin khilji more than 17 times and now it's rebuild again, sun temple, hampi site in karnataka etc.......there is one temple in pakistan which is called katasraj temple believed to be built 5000 yrs ago....the temple is dedicates to lord ram, hanuman and shiva... there's a pond near the temple which was created from a teardrop of shiva....

The temple and its complex is built in such a way they absorb the shadow and it doesnt fall on the ground. The stone is also a very specific type where ALL of the stones used in the construction are geological twins and they were used in the temple in such a way that they were put in a puzzle lock form so they dont need any cementing between them. The rock was brought from more than 60 miles away since this area doesnt have such a mountain. The kumbam was placed over it by a building a Ramp of over many Kms long with stones n mud Drawn up by elephants and then itbwas dismantled after 6 or more yrs. The foundation of the temple itself is only a shallow one amd yet it is earthquake resistance. There is scaled down version built the successor of rajarajachozhan in the nearby city of gangaikondacholapuram. I.e a city which brought ganga to itself. It is believed that there are tunnels which conmect tanjavur to kasi to bring ganga everyday back to be used in rituals.

Not for humans. But this temple is completely designed for our peoples , our cultures, our traditions, etc... And it's a divine. Even in the world nobody can built this type of temple.
