Good catch with the opening bass line. You probably are the only reactor who heard it right away. That very deep bass voice was Grammy winner Jarrett Johnson who also did the vocal arrangement along with Katrina Velarde, Daryl Ong and Mike Shapiro. Same with I'm Your Angel and Katrina's Latin Medley, the instrumentation and mixing was a collaboration of great artists from both sides of the pacific (Manila and US)

I think it is bugoy who is hitting the base. Bugoy hits higher notes but usually in chorus you don't see him belting because they need him to work on the base

Greetings the other video that Katrina and BUDAKEL made is a Filipino love song you might like to watch it , i am sorry there is no english sub title i hope you like it any way the title is " BALANG ARAW " which mean (some other day ) or ( someday ) when we meet again its a story of a couple the wife is an artist trying to paint the husbands portrait and with her toubled pregnacy she passes away but the child was born and he was able to take care of his daughter as time goes bye even with the lost of his wife he does not forget and wishes some day that they will meet again the daughter also became an artist and decided to finish the picture of her mother's painting of her dad and the daughter decided to make a portrait of her dad as well to pay tribute to her parents on the end of the video were the urn of her parents and the picture as well are hanging above it, the day has come that they are now together again
