I live in Barnsley and it's great to see all the parodies of stuff here, Rog's veg hole is a parody of a stall our market still has called Dave's fruit and veg. Barnsworth fried chicken II is a parody of the two competing fried chicken shops within a street of each other which are both called UK fried chicken and both use the same logo and menu. Edit: and 01226 is the landlines area code for Barnsley, the stock footage in the opening credits too is great to see.
