Amazing work, thank you, I'm just a beginner as a hobbyist your kind of skill is getting hard to find. Thank you again

I've been binge watching all your videos, thanks so much for sharing. I definitely think a series on your tourbillon project would be great. I took up pocket watch repair as a hobby for something to do between hand engraving gun and knife jobs. Your videos really help my knowledge base. This tourbillon project of yours looks like a lot of fun, and a way I could repurchase some of the dozens of pocket watch parts movements I've collected. Keep up the great work. I love the Fusee videos.

I like the look of this movement, there is something really nice about the raw quality.

The progress has been slowed since February. I'll occasionally post pictures on the community page of my channel going forward. Thanks for your interest.

Do you have a source for the raw jewel material? I looked into this once and found a supplier but the quantities were far more than I would ever need in a lifetime for restoration. There are a couple of KZbin videos on making jewels for watches by Steffen Pahlow, an amazing watch maker.

I have inherited and traded for a lot of synthetic sapphire/ruby which came from the Elgin factory. If you are looking for natural stone for restoring pieces from which natural stone was used, you can search for "faceting rough" on ebay or at gem and mineral shows in your area. I'm working on my script for the jeweling videos, so stay tuned.
