almost a decade later and this song still makes me cry. this made me realize the real point of minecraft, that you can do whatever you want, that there is no wrong way to play it. so many different types of players and community members- redstoners, map makers, pvp players, animators, song makers, those who have been playing so long that they were considered OGs even back in 2013, griefers, moderators, SMP players, single players, and more. no bias towards certain players or promotion of any one play style as being superior to others, but just genuine appreciation for everyone who made up the minecraft community at the time. even breaking the 'rules' was done with gratitude to those who laid them down. as corny as it is, i want to say thank you. thank you from the absolute bottom of my heart. than you for being there when i was a kid and thank you for still going when im an adult. thank you for everything. thank you for being yourself. thank you so much. just thank you.

Thank you so much for making this song for everyone (yes its been years since its published). However, even if it's old, thank you so much. I can continue to remember my past with this song. All my friends working on cool buildings, making cool contraptions, or just generally goofing off as we go blow stuff with TNT. I know almost everyone that played Minecraft during there childhood made some amazing memories and I hope a song like this helps them remember all that has happened. Maybe we lost some friends and that's sad. However, I hope they are having a good life right now and having the best time that they could have. Also, some of us have made some really good friends through this game during there childhood. I still have friends today that I used to play this game 6 years ago. Thank you so much, Minecraft for allowing me to have such a fun childhood, with all the building we could do anything and for allowing me to connect to people that I didn't even know at the time. I hope everyone that has played this game during their childhood has some great lasting memories.

I love and hate this song and songs like it. On one hand, its a love letter to my childhood and moments ill always look back on with fondness in my heart, and im so glad it was made. On the other hand its a reminder that that time is long since past. KZbinrs, map makers, redstoners, modders that I used to know by heart, ive also all but forgotten their names and their works... but ill always be so thankful to them for contributing to make that part of my life so beautiful.
