To be fair, I will say that making changes right before a tournament really isn't the greatest. It doesn't give time for players to adapt, even if they are a small change or not. This one (1) singular time is justified.

Honestly new castle nerf barely noticeable. His first upgrade removes basically all downside to the nerf, minus making rampart a good counter vs him.

@AndresGarcia-oj2rz that can be used tactically to juggle downed teammates by canceling the revive to absorb bullets though, so it's still decent imo.

I might get slack for this but I think respond caters far too much to the pros and I personally think they just need to allow the pro side to die it stretches out the dev team too much and the pros take up about 0.01% of the remaining player base if this is the most of the procentage they've had idk but I do know whats go for the pro side is not necessarily good for the casual side. I dare say purely listening to the pros is why the game is in as bad as a spot as it is

The nerfs are actually good. Lifeline being able to rez 2 people relatively quickly at the same time while she fights and the rezzed teammates gets healed up was powerful, pair it with a new castle and the squad was basically a 3 strikes type of fight. Same with newcastle, his rez shield is still strong because 250 damage is still at most a full mag for most weapons, and thats for a white knockdown shield. Thank God they nerfed his unli health wall, that was unneeded imo and it having 750 hp is plenty.

As a newcastle main i understand the mobile being reverted back to having hp but the increased cooldown to 20 sec wasn't needed and they added an 8 sec cooldown for his tack to the swift shield part but practically no one uses it since lets be real every newcastle uses the increase movement speed while reviving including myself i main him before his buffs as an og player i started maining him around season 17 and i'm at 15,800k kills (i'm not sitting her saying he didn't need a nerf i agree they needed to bring him back down a bit) but they nerfed the wrong thing on him like aside from reverting his shield to having hp they could have nerfed his revive movement speed perk % a bit so you didn't move as crazy but it was still faster then his base revive speed movement,

Grr honestly i have never seen anyone use the swift shield perk me and alot of newcastls i run into always use the revive speed perk and it was a lazy idea to just had the 8 sec cooldown to his tac to it like i get they want people to use the extra tactical movement speed perk but that is just lazy it's the same lazy issue they did to horizon where they nerf her lift to 25 sec just to give her a perk that drops it back down to 20 sec it just seem hella lazy

Apex Fall, single player and BR, and has titan too, but the movement not quickly like titanfall but same like apex legend season first, BR has two mode a normal like apex legend BR and other is has titan BR , so people can choose what side mode , and the map is adjustment if has titan the map more bigger than the normal BR, and the players more too, normal BR 100 players, titan BR 150 example

Yeah I agree with you Grrt on a lot of issues being caused by them catering too heavily to the Pro scene. Not to say Pros are the main cause of all the issues but them not nerfing/buffing legends until the split to give Pros as much time as possible to adjust to changes and not distrubt them prscticing is kinda dumb. Especially if we get hyper unfun meta and are stuck with them for half a season just to avoid upsetting pros. I think either they should just update things as they go or make it so we have consistent in between Split Balance updates so if they fuck up a buff badly luke this time around, we're not stuck with it for a long time. If Pros get mad about not being able to play a meta extensively then oh well. It is what it is.

Finally imo the pro scene shouldn't be catered to the extent as much as they always are playing a single legend just cause their busted is so un fun. They could've handled it like fortnite having the pro scene being for strict and based by skill while pubs could contain all the fun things that would be unfair in a pro setting. Yea like even a half decent smoothskin can understand what part of a legends kit should be nerfed or reverted back i main newcastle before his buffs and i understood that they where gonna revert the shield back to having hp( i'm ok with that) but the 8 sec cooldown wasn't needed his perk for extra movement speed while reviving was the issue & they could have just slightly lowered the movement speed % while reviving
