We have been very happy with the 1012. To be fair it only gets about 400rds a year through it, but it has never had any issues.

I recently inherited a 80 year old semi auto Winchester Model 50. It's a cool shotgun with a lot of family heritage. Congrats on the 1012. Ours has been fantastic!

MRBLACK947 when I ran an armory in the Navy, we had one of these recreation shotguns in the safe (for MWR events). I would do maintenance and upkeep on it like the other weapons. It was shocking how long the barrel was, as long as an entire tactical mossburgs. We had “intruder” training once in-port and I gave the guy this snotty to use... it was hilarious seeing him try to sweep corners with it lol

Just bought my first shot gun which is a cz 1012 all terrain 12 ga semi-automatic shotgun, looks the same as this one in the video. Any advice is much appreciated on this shot gun, great video by the way and glad to hear that you like yours!

Jacob, as long as it runs out of the box with no problems you likely won't have any issues with your 1012. Only one way to find out. Get out there and shoot it as much as you can. I think we've taken it part way apart for cleanings a couple times and to make sure it was thoroughly dried out after some rain outings. I would have no hesitations in buying another one of these if the need arose.

We have the new 1012 and a CZ over/under 12g. Both have been 100%. We have a CZ P-09 as well. Great shooter for a full size 9mm. That one is one of our class pool guns and gets a lot of range time. Runs dirty quite nicely. ;)

@@WillFlyForTips Definitely. We have a P09 that we use as an instruction gun. Doesn't get cleaned very often and thousands and thousands of rounds through it. Runs like a top. Holds brazillion rounds of ammo to boot.

Just bought a 1012, and it’s my second CZ shotgun. I love em! Just curious which choke tube you guys were operating and/or preferring at the range on clays?

It has the modified choke in it. We still haven't patterned it. It hits so well I don't want to jinx ourselves if we know where it's hitting. We also have an over under CZ 12 gauge and it has been a good gun but it just doesn't perform as well as the 1012 and holy hell is it heavy.

I used my new 1012 for the first time on a South Tx white winged dove hunt and I've never hit my limit that quick! I left the modified choke and it worked great for mid range flyers.

Matthew I am not sure honestly. It's a heavy duty SOB. Definitely was purchased by our range to last. I'll look and see if it has a tag on it next time we're out there. It's been a bit of a dry spell in shotgun clay shooting for us due to the lack of readily available ammo. :(

For those that shoot 3” shells, the CZ 1012 while chambered for 3” and a capacity of 4 + 1, will only hold 3+ 1 capacity of the 3” shells ..

It's still 100%. I don't think it's ever had a malfunction with at least 5 different brands of ammo from cheap to expensive. She's probably done 25 rounds of trap and 3 sporting clays courses. I know some people have had some problems with them in the comments but so far I would recommend for someone to give it a try.

what kind of loads were yall using? i took mine out yesterday on a dove hunt with high brass long range loads and it failed to chamber twice on me?

Tyler all low brass loads. Federal, Winchester, and Estate target stuff. 1oz and 1 1/8oz with 7 and 8 shot. So far this shotgun has been 100% but we've not shot anything other than target ammo out of it so there is that. Hope you get is sorted out.

You won't regret it Herbert. We're already talking about buying another one. We generally treat that range like were on the trap range. One shell at a time. That being said if the shooter want's two birds, load two rounds by all means. While we didn't really show it on camera the gun cycled flawlessly with 2 or 3 rounds in it.

Did you have any problems with ejection? Shot mine for the first time today and it didn’t eject the shell and it didn’t cycle.

We have had zero problems with ours. It has had nothing but target loads shot out of it since it was new. Will yours hand cycle? Did it fire a shell at all? If it won't even do that I would take it back to where ever you got it from.

That's tough for me to answer Minh. I have zero experience with any Stoeger guns. I have 3 CZs and they have all been 100%. I would buy another 1012 though myself.

I’ve been looking for the Stoeger M3K for 3Gun for a while and haven’t found any available. Ended up getting a 1012 today because of the gas-less action, but it doesn’t take mag tube extensions so I still want to get a Stoeger if I can find one

Avoid CZ shotguns like the plague. I bought one, it was defective and while they offered to change it will take 10 MONTHS to get the replacement. Meanwhile, I'm left without a gun but they don't care, they have my money.
