You songs are a huge part of my life. 90% of the songs i street perform with on my electric violin are your songs! I will absolutely never forget the day you came up to me at the Pike Place Market while i was playing Crystallize. That is one of the BIGGEST moments that has ever happened to me, and you gave me such motivation, encouragement, and inspiration. Thank you so much for everything. I could honestly write an essay to you, but I'm gonna keep it short and straight to the point. Thank you for changing my life!

For me it started with AGT ☺ in 2010.. then you disappeared for a while & I thought 'I wonder what happened to her after the Semis?'. In early 2012 I found your YT channel & I was so happy you weren't giving up! You music really helped & motivated me while recovering for 5 long months after a difficult lung transplant surgery. I'm doing great & celebrated 3 years post double lung transplant on May 22nd this year. Barnes Jewish Hospital in St Louis saved my life ♥. I've been very fortunate to see you 3 times in St Louis (and met you once back in 2013 on tour for your first album) Congrats on 100 videos & 3 BILLION views!!! 😀. I'll see you next year in August back in St Louis & looking forward to giving you a big hug again.

Great story! Sorry you had to go through a double transplant lung surgery. That's rough. My dad's girlfriend had to have half of her liver removed, because it was cancerous. In 2018. She's okay now. But at the time it was really scary, cause she had a severe infection. And the doctors weren't sure if she was going to pull through. Though I'm happy she did pull through. I'm glad listening to Lindsey Sterling helped you out in that difficult time of your life!

It's crazy for me to think that I've been following you since your video count was in the single digits...It's so cool to not only see your style grow and evolve, but to see you get the support an resources required to make your artistic vision come even more to life. And now your second graphic novel is ready for us?! Just crazy. You are so gifted and talented and you've worked so hard to get here, you deserve to be extremely proud. I've enjoyed your albums, your music, your dancing, your videos, and now your manga (if I may call it that) and shared it with my friends for so long. I will never forget seeing you in concert almost 7 years ago now (holy cow, has it been that long?) and it's so rewarding to watch you climb to success. You are also a huge inspiration and role-model to my daughter, who, even though she's only 5, thinks you are the coolest person in the world. Keep it up and I can't wait to see what happens in the next 100 videos! PS - Reading through all the other comments I hope that you realize just how powerful and positive an influence you have been on so many people. We are more blessed to have you than you are to have us, so for every thank you you've given fans, you deserve over 3 billion back...

Hey sorry, you went through such tough times in school. With depression and suicide attempt, etc. That sucks. I know you don't know me. But a few years ago, when I was in high school. I got bullied A lot and I had a really abusive step-dad. It wasn't great all around. I didn't try to commit suicide or anything like that. But I tried to runaway a few times. Just so I could get away from all that. It never stayed that way though. I always had to come back. Lindsey Sterling really helped me in tough times. The shadow and crystallize songs especially. Anyway that was a long time ago. I don't live with my parents anymore. And things are great! I just find it insteresting how much Lindsey songs can touch people. From all over! And I'm glad it touched you like it touched my heart. 💝

@@NJDDChristianDance Maybe not racial oppression, but she certainly struggled through the consecutive losses of her father and best friend, was raised in a modest household which could only afford half violin lessons, was told she would never make it on reality TV, and carved herself a place in the intersection of violin and dance. Just because she may not have struggled harder than other performers to get to where she is now, does not mean she has not overcome many obstacles of her own.

Credit where credit is due: The concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl in 2015 was one of the adventures of my life; I traveled 1200 miles to attend, walked across Santa Barbara to reach, and spent the night after the concert at the Goleta airport because I couldn't afford a 2nd night at a motel (I hadn't planned on needing one). That concert introduced me to Olivia Somerlyn and "OXO". One of the most treasured experiences of my life. The Cedar Rapids concert was another adventure in which I traveled 900 miles, and was disappointed in the end because you'd had personal problems and had to cancel the very day of the concert. But it did give me the opportunity to lay to rest a few demons from my childhood. You _very generously_ provided me with tickets to the Dallas concert, which both introduced me to The Federal Empire, and _amazed_ me with your stage production for "The Arena". And it only required a trip of 200 miles, this time. Then there was the disaster that was the Tulsa Warmer in Winter concert (90 miles). I won't go into it except in its connection to where credit is due. All my life I've been preached at how important it is to do for others. To, me this always smacked of self-aggrandizement and virtue-signaling ("look how good I am!"). Sometime shortly after the Santa Barbara concert, I'd had a very, very, low night. I was leaving work 1st thing in the morning, and the parking lot was full of birds. I saw two fighting over a scrap of paper, and my heart was moved. I went back inside and bought a loaf of french bread and spent 15 minutes feeding and talking to the birds. I remember saying, "Nobody goes hungry today!" I went home in high spirits for the first time in a long time. This grew to "random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty". I would buy a box of candy canes and share them with whatever co-worker I happened upon. I would randomly buy drinks, coffee or meals for co-workers; occasionally I would pay for the meal for someone in line at McDonald's. I was making little over minimum wage at the time. I bought a bicycle for a co-worker's little boy, so she and her husband could afford to buy him the other presents he wanted. It... felt... great... Prior to watching your videos and attending your concerts, it would never have occurred to me to do these things for others. The apex came with the Tulsa concert. You said there'd be a Toys for Tots drive at the concert; I talked my store manager into letting me shop at black friday prices over my lunch hour. I spent it in the toy department buying toys. I bought over $100 worth of toys, overflowing a shopping cart and had to force myself to stop because I wasn't going to be able to pay rent otherwise. Your examples of generosity had inspired me... and nobody told me that doing for others could fill oneself with such pure joy! That hour shopping, imagining the happiness I hoped to bring to kids I'd never know, was the highlight of the event for me. When I got to the concert, I asked where I could put the toys. They indicated the next room. I had to make a long walk back to my car to get them, and was embarrassed by the stares I got as I hauled two bags full of toys to the reception desk. I looked at the people standing in line, dressed in casual clothes that would have cost me a week's pay, families of three and four, with VIP tickets... $1200 at least to attend the concert. And they'd brought one measly $3 or $5 Fisher-Price toy. I felt sorry for them, I really did. The rest of the night was an absolute, miserable nightmare (I didn't even get to attend the concert or collect my snow globe). But it did represent the greatest extent to which you and your music had influenced me spiritually. And for that I give you full credit and gratitude.

Incredible to see how you've grown and how KZbin is a place where real talent can truly shine. Your videos reflect who you are as an artist, not who you would be if you had fallen into the corporate trap of the music industry. I 100% admire you and know your success will continue because we are the architects of our own futures. I 1000% love what you've done and want to thank YOU for being you! AMAZING!!! I also want to thank all the people who have helped her, encouraged her and supported her in becoming what she has. You guys inspire me.

You give to us so many strength to move forward, to rest, to enjoy of little things. You are with a lot of people every time but you don't know that. I don't know if god exist but you're a little bit like him for those who are following you. As fans, we can only send love to you and keep going to following you. I trully hope you have someone like we have you for us in your life, i think fans are only fans, we can sent love but please don't forget to take time for yourself not only for us. 😘

I'm so proud of all you accomplished! I remember finding Master of Tides when I was at the worst point I could've been mentally, and that song was the one that ended up saving my life from my depression. I remember pulling an all nighter just to watch all of your videos you had on your channel and listening to your story! The worst point of my life so far had actually turned into something really great all because of you!

Thank you for being you Lindsey. You don't know me, but I have watched you since I was ten or eleven as my dad would find your videos on youtube, and bring them to me and my siblings to watch. It was a dark time for me and my family due to circumstances, but you gave me hope in my future as an artist, and showed me what freedom being yourself could give. So, thank you. Even after all this time, I still love your videos, and I love your unique style of playing and dancing. I've heard many a violinist, but your sound stands out in a crowd and draws my attention every time. Thank you.

Probably been here watching since around Elements or Skyrim! My orchestra teacher in 7th grade would show us your videos to keep our class inspired! I was hooked, soon saw and met you in St Louis at the Pagaeant 2013, what an awesome incredible show. Then in high school learning electric violin and alternative styles and classical, street playing with Crystallize and others, performing Shatter Me for the choir pop concert. It's safe to say you've kept me inspired through the years, and to inspire me taking private lessons! I'm now a junior in college studying music business. Keep working hard girl, you're so awesome.

Yeah this’ll probably get buried, but my introduction to Lindsey was back in early 2017. Didn’t really listen to music much at all before then, but this was the first artist that really made me think “Wow, I actually want to keep listening!” And so I did. Been a great journey seeing the progression. I tend to get pretty nostalgic for 2017, it was just a great year for me - and discovering Lindsey Stirling really amplified that. 3 billion views well deserved. I just wish she’d do collaborations with other KZbinrs again!

I was first exposed to Lindsey in orchestra class in 2014(2nd period, freshman year). Our first project in that class, a violinist covered Lindsey and we watched the Crystallize video! For 3 months straight, I listened to Crystallize, Elements and Shadows. Sophomore year, I listened to Take Flight every day on the bus to school. The first video premiere I ever saw was The Arena and was hooked! The first album I bought was Brave Enough. Now I all I need is to go on Tour🙏🏾 I always was impressed by you Lindsey because you made orchestra cool to a young 14 year old. You still make the most genuine unique breathtaking experiences through your music and MV’s. Thank you so much for inspiring me and being your truest self while doing so. 6 years ago, I saw that and instantly became a Stirlingite. We love you so much and what you accomplished ♥️♥️♥️🙌🏾

This video was a bomb of nostalgia :') You literally filled my teenage years and were one of the main inspirations I had to become a singer and a musician. I never watch music videos from people, but yours are videos I've watched again and again, you feel me with inspiration and nurture my imagination. What a way you have to break the barriers of what's possible, I'm eternally blessed to have found your channel and to have seen you play and interact with me when I saw you LIVE in Chile in the first row! (the second time). I cannot thank you enough for everything you do and for continuing to move forward every day, for you and for everyone around you. Thank you.

Lindsey, you have been such a joy to have. Every time you fall, you back up again, and that has been an inspiration for me personally. Each music video and song are unique to themselves. Each album tells its own story, with each song being a part of that story, and that's something that not many artists can get. Lindsey, you are not only an inspiration, but you're also the fire that fuels so many others. I remember that a few years ago I thought I could never play the violin, but your songs inspired me to keep trying (been at it for 2 years now). We should be thanking YOU for all you've done for us. So thank YOU for being the light in people's lives. Thank YOU for inspiring others. And most importantly, thank YOU for being yourself. Your Fan, Celia

I remember so many of these. What's wild is when I see one, how many more were made afterwards. Didn't know that Spontaneous Me was the 6th you made, the first one I ever saw. You hair in Electric Daisy Violin. X-D I swear that Shadows came out earlier but only because I saw it before Celtic Carol, Zelda Medley, and even Electric Daisy Violin. Something Wild - as a featured violinist in an actual released-for-theaters Disney Movie! Your documentary - still only 2/3 the way through. Warmer In The Winter - done in a single shot! Your Virtual Concert - Just so mind-blowing! Between Twilight - Personally my favorite and your best yet!

You're seriously one of my favorite people and my all time favorite violist. You are incredibly sweet and talented! There are some things that you do that no other artist does that I love, you didn't have to thank us, you don't have to do string sessions every week, you don't have to push yourself on tour every year, both physically and mentally where I am afraid that you're going to sprain your ankles when you jump off a platform, and you don't have to share your expirance with depression, anxiety, and anorexia, and you don't have to repsond to comments on Instagram when someone says that they need help, but you do. I don't think there are words to describe how blessed we are to have you apart our lives you are so generous, daring, humble, thoughtful, inspiratioal, and a beautiful person (okay there are words but I am sure there are more). I am so happy that God has given you these amazing talents such as video editing, compasing, songwriting, singing, dancing, and you have done an incredible job not giving up and not listening to those meanie judges from AGT when you were on it, I do admit you weren't as good as you are today because you practiced and found out why God gave you those talents and how to uses them! I was supposed to meet you this year (and tell you thank you in person for helping me get through my personal struggles with your words about self love when I went to your concert in August 2018), and was really look forward to it, I didn't purchase the tickets because I had a feeling it was going to be postponed so I probably will meet you in 2022 (so far away) just because you aren't coming back to Florida next year, and I loved when you played at Ruth Eckered Hall (There were not one- not teo standing ovations that night and I think you were so grateful you started crying a bit?) I absolutely love seeing you perform live- I would take that over hearing your recorded track, I don't care if you mess up (even if you do, it still is beautiful) I just love hearing you play live. It would be amazing if you made an Artemis Live CD, like Evanescence did. (Sadly you weren't on it though :c)

Not sure how best to phrase it (I'm an IT geek, not a writer :) ), but I really think a big part of *why* you're just so fantastic (songs and vids and just 'you' in general ! ), is because you do what YOU want to . Even if we didn't see the behind-the-scenes vids (which, please don't *ever* stop doing..! ), anyone watching would be hard pressed to NOT see the amazing effort that goes into your music vids. It's never just a "oh I have to crank out a video for song X next week..." . Yes, it's torture waiting to hear which songs will have vids next (and thankyou SO much for choosing Between Twilight !) , and then even more so ticking off the days (and the hours...) until a premiere... BUT , we all know it will be worth the wait and we'll be blown away by it :-) Just a hugh "thankyou" for giving us so many amazing songs and videos these past years, that we can listen to for relaxing, and for a huge pick-me-up.
