at ipswich train station there is a pair of class 90s a freightliner livery and an old greater anglia livery

I think you will find the have gone back north now, and just 90011 is there for crew training.

I do very much Matthew, I think its because they were the first electric loco I spotted when I got into this hobby.

It wouldn't hurt Freightliner to restore a pair of these locos to their original livery and run them as normal. would be good publicity for them too.

Because of covid it has been delayed but there was a plan to re engine and re bogie some 86'es and put them back into service

Hi Mike, good to see the old gals out and about - seen any Tangerine Skoda's (90s) yet? Anyway, posted this before but gonna post it again - According to the "Head of News" at Rail Magazine, "some former GA Cl.90s will replace the ageing Cl.86 fleet which will be retired from service until they can be overhauled and re-introduced as the compnay expands its electrically hauled services."
