The lyrics “omnipotent ophthalmologist” are the two single best words in any song ever! When this was recorded I was in the audience and one of staff near me stopped when she was doing and grabbed something near her neck (I think a cross necklace) and then as the song continued she looked more shocked and starting making the cross sign on her body with her eyes shut. I don’t think she was thanking god in the same way Tim was!

I have been so "blessed" to have seen Tim Minchin twice. When he performed here in Dallas he was denied a piano rental at the 11th hour because they learned of his act. But he still made it happen.

Tim Minchin - the edgiest edgelord of them all. Here I am with this complex tapestry of belief, tradition, and experience, and he just comes and BLOWS MY MIND. Fedora well and truly tipped.
