Hands down mate! Thank you for the huge help in elite dangerous! No matter what i searched for i knew i always found it here. Like when i wanted to know where to get the guardian weapons or Salvation weapons or even how to get alot of credits! YOur channel got it all! How to space mine or explorer best jump ranges etc. how engineering works a proper guide best farming spots... Man i could go on forever... thank you so much for all the indirect help in my elite dangerous journey! It is really sad to hear that this channel will be "lifeless" i a couple of months... but i respect your choice... AGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH ..... I wish you the best of luck !

I got into Elite when I was in the Air Force back in the early 90s with Frontier on my Amiga. I'm fascinated with space stuff and science; which is why when you first mentioned Cosmic Curiosity on the Discord I subbed right away. I also love photography (I really loved taking pictures in Europe when I was stationed there) so taking pictures of space? Uber cool!

With regard to how much the astronomical community is served with content, there’s so much to report on these days that you can still add to the collective discussion with unique stories, and of course it makes sense to report and comment on the bigger story as well. Also some people simply like certain presenters for different reasons - could be your style of speaking, your voice, or even your unique insight. I say, follow your heart and do what you love, and they will come.

Morning.. I agree.. you Should Not "Rebrand" this Channel.. but.. Use it to Supplement.. and Crosspromote to your new one.. as you stated.. already about 1000 people went and subscribed to the other project.. instead of completely stopping this one.. Take a break.. Start the new Project.. get your new workflow down.. Then use this Channel in a "diminished capacity" to check in to the community.. and update how things are going on the new Channel.. you've already seen a little bit of crosspromotion from just One video... anyhoo.. Both myself and my Dad have been following your videos for a while. Your guides have been legendary and your tools super useful. I won't lie. We will miss this aspect in the future for Elite. So I do hope for a future where occasionally you visit and consider making guides and stream when you decide to. My Dad is an amateur Astronomer. I fondly remember the evening we sat out watching Comet Levy 9 impact Jupiter on a 10 inch Dobsonian telescope. We are looking forward to see what your Cosmic Curiosity brings.

For camera I use a insta360 link. I used to have a much bigger camera but that little thing has excellent image quality and it's small enough that it's easy to hide around a monitor. For editing I use Vegas Pro, but for Cosmic Curiosity I'll switch over to Davinci resolve. If you are starting out I would 100% go with Davinci. There is a lot more guide for it and its ot has a free version that's more than enough to get you started.
