Now use it in a dark room like most of us that game. Doesn't work for crap unless you buy an expensive cam with very good low light lense. Or use it when your camera isn't sitting right on your desk in front of you. Only youtube/twitch dorks play games with surgical lighting on and everything right in their face.

I recently started playing and I am blown away by this game. I am absolutely hooked and literally took a vacation to play this game lol. Just bought my first medium ship (Alliance Chieftain) at day 4 and I have 3 days left to fix it up lol. love this game.

The better play in 2024 would be a Python hauler, then a Fleet Carrier in 7 days or less. I did buy an Anaconda along the way.

i have a tendency to run out of fuel. and i really ought to to just be paying more attention to that guage and estimating how much fuel i'll need for a particular system's exploration. i really have no reason to run out in my asp explorer though. 96t total is a hell of a lot of fuel but gets me pretty damn far without worry.

They are used to unlock the engineer Broo. Instead of having to shift for over 5000 ly you can just go to his engineering plant with ine of these in your hold and unlock him that way. Saves sooooo much time.

Guardian grind is a joke. Goids literally invading the bubble but we have to spend 6 hours grindibg blueprints and mats to have weapons that actually do something agaisnt them. Makes no sense. If the AX weapons were half decent or had more variety it wouldnt be such an issue but you may as well self destruct if you're trying to fight goids with a pure ax build. This shit is dumb.

I decided to pick this up and give it a try without any guides. Did the quite decent starter tutorial guide and was dumped at a station with zero clear idea what to do. Took a simple delivery mission, worked out how to rent a shuttle for 100cr to that location, then found the box via looking up the location in another terminal, input the code.. then stranded with no idea how I'm supposed to get away. Eventually I was attacked by locals for no obvious reason and got a crime stat when I defended myself and ended up with a 174,000cr penalty for respawning. So deleted that Cmdr and will restart.. but as an observation this game is lacking any intuitive help, and I say that as a seasoned space game player so I'm more than familiar with many other games in the genre.

Isn't technology amazing. I remember when I was a college student back in 2008, the only option was building a weird contraption with 3 IR leds strapped to your headset or cap. Even than tracking was iffy from time to time. Now with neural network and AI stuff, we can just do this with great ease. Amazing!
