I keep thinking about what Ed said in the video on Monday. I have a great amount of respect, admiration, and appreciation towards you Ed for helping Rob spiritually, faithfully, and religiously throughout his battle and most importantly, during the end of his battle, and not shying away from sharing that with us. I've been a fan of you and Rob for 4+ yrs. I don't know you guys by any means, but I really appreciate that you were there to help him in that way. Only a true and great friend and person would do so. I'm thankful that you were able to bring him peace and that you let him know that he can hop in the passenger seat this time and let the Lord take the wheel. Edit: It's awesome hearing how many of these guys were there for him and helped him find salvation. He was very fortunate to be surrounded by such great people and friends.

The Bible says "Greater Love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends". While I would never argue the Bible... I'd have to say a strong second to that would be "Such great a love for a friend that a man has.... that he lead him to salvation in Christ".

Over the past few years, his videos have truly inspired me as a fellow gear head and OBS fanatic. It's funny to recount the times that some of my family and friends have walked in, heard his voice, and said, "Is that Rabbit?" Though they had never watched him, they knew that iconic voice! He was a legend who did more with 45 years than most could do with 80, and he will be forever missed! My condolences go out to his loved ones, his family, and the entire car community! Then burning up the streets with partying in it. I told my grandmother about the wedding day trip to the car lot where his father told him to not get married right then and he could have any corvette on the lot right then. I’ll always remember and laugh at the tales told my Rob Rabbit Pitts. To me he’ll always be the #1 salesman of all time. I love how many people here are clearly holding back tears the closer they were to Rob. It's sad to see a man like that go, and I'll never forget him

I can't watch this in one sitting, too tough. I did not know Rabbit personally, but he let so many people in on what felt like such a personal level with his storytelling.

The second Ed said that there are signed plates from Rob available, I went straight to the website to buy one and already sold out. I wish I would have been able to purchase one but I am also glad that the love for Rob is so strong that it did sell out. RIP legend

This news is truly heart breaking. Rob is forever cemented a legend, and not a legend for any specific one thing. Rob is a legend for everything he did. Man lived life to the fullest and I'm glad we got to experience a little but of that with him and everyone here. God bless 🙌🏽

Rob, I am only a year older than you and this world is not ready to let you go! I to sold cars right out of high school in 97’ in Eugene Oregon. I spent four years at Romania Toyota - Subaru - Hyundai - Chevrolet store’s. I lived through some of my most care free years your stories. From exotic dancers to stories from the old school guys throwing exhausted customers trade in keys on the roof just to keep them on the lot for another 15 minutes. Countless hours playing pranks on other dealerships in town and having the new guys looking for that dang show room floor jack!! When I first heard your eBay banned for life on VIN Wiki you took me back to being 18, making sure I was dressed for the success I was hoping for! Thank you for taking me back every time I hear a new story. Love from all of us car guys at heart!

You sometimes hear, “who would you like to narrate your life’s story?” It is often Morgan Freeman, James Earl Jones, Jeremy Irons, Michael Cummings, and others. For me, it would have been Rob “Rabbit” Pitts. Honey poured over gravel is such an apt description of his amazing and mesmerizing voice. We will miss you Rabbit.

i found Rob and Vinwiki when i was around 13, i had just moved to a new country and was a lost and angry kid. Rob really left an impression on me with his passion, charisma and most importantly his confidence and kindness. I really needed that at that age and from those videos it set me on a path to discover my own passions and also a love for everything with engines. Im almost 22 now and i hope to be able to live up to the example he set, spread kindness and good vibes, pursue my passions and live life like its the last day. Thank you for everything Rabbit and rest in peace.

Loved listening to Rob. He was truly a gifted orator. I saw the goodbye video from him before I left to go pickup a 91 850i and rolled through his hood on the way back. He’s certainly going to be missed.

Y'all are gonna make me cry again and I haven't even watched yet. This makes me really think about life and mortality. I didn't realize Rabbit was sick until hearing of his passing and I was just absolutely shocked and completely saddened. I feel for Rabbit's friends and family right now and I hope that everyone is able to find some sort of peace, whatever that looks like. ❤

I can't believe he was only 45, same age as me. He lived a full 75 years in those 45. Definitely one of a kind and an absolute legend who's legacy will continue to live on. We're fortunate he shared so much with us. RIP.

A lot of Rob stories were about success and wild things but he definitely didn't shy away from the hard parts of life. Rob shared one of the most inspirational stories that was also the hardest for him to tell. The story about his son Cam and finding out that he was cheated on and Cam wasn't his son. When he said no matter what she does she will always be a mother but I have done nothing wrong and suddenly I am no longer a father that hit hard. He was very open about how that put him into a depression and a bad place. With some words of wisdom from his father he was able to come back strong and that was the start of him being a salesman at the Ford dealership where he got the name Rabbit.

I was fortunate enough to get to meet and at least somewhat know Rabbit as a real person. Honestly, the person you saw on videos was the real Rob. A very entertaining and genuine individual. I feel blessed and fortunate that I got to do a video together with him, and I will have that memory forever. I also know that when I get to heaven I’m going to see a lot of angels riding around in cool vintage muscle cars all of which were sold to them by Rob “Rabbit” Pitts. RIP brother.

I found Rabbit through VinWiki. I loved his stories and the “honey over gravel” unmistakable voice. He always presented as 1000% genuine, truly a friend to all that would interact with him. Simultaneously a little cocky and quite humble. A great man has passed and will be terribly missed. I’ll be going back through all of the RUC videos. It’s a truly sad day in the CarTube community.

I never got to meet Rob but the first time I heard him speak, I was hooked to his wisdom and motivation. I live close to Greenville and the moment he announced that he was going to throw a huge party once the new shop was done, I couldn’t wait to go. I spoke about it so many times and kept checking in to make sure I hadn’t missed it. He was truly a blessing to this world and one of the most unique characters this world had to offer. Thanks to his words and motivation, the grind will never stop! Rest in peace to a true legend and a genuinely great guy.
