I spent four years at Romania Toyota - Subaru - Hyundai - Chevrolet store’s. I lived through some of my most care free years your stories. From exotic dancers to stories from the old school guys throwing exhausted customers trade in keys on the roof just to keep them on the lot for another 15 minutes. Countless hours playing pranks on other dealerships in town and having the new guys looking for that dang show room floor jack!! When I first heard your eBay banned for life on VIN Wiki you took me back to being 18, making sure I was dressed for the success I was hoping for! I can't believe he was only 45, same age as me. He lived a full 75 years in those 45. Definitely one of a kind and an absolute legend who's legacy will continue to live on. We're fortunate he shared so much with us. RIP.

A lot of Rob stories were about success and wild things but he definitely didn't shy away from the hard parts of life. Rob shared one of the most inspirational stories that was also the hardest for him to tell. The story about his son Cam and finding out that he was cheated on and Cam wasn't his son. When he said no matter what she does she will always be a mother but I have done nothing wrong and suddenly I am no longer a father that hit hard. He was very open about how that put him into a depression and a bad place. With some words of wisdom from his father he was able to come back strong and that was the start of him being a salesman at the Ford dealership where he got the name Rabbit.

That’s never easy losing somebody that you know very well that becomes close that becomes part of the family. You guys do amazing things and you will continue to do amazing things and we all love you guys for that.

I was fortunate enough to get to meet and at least somewhat know Rabbit as a real person. Honestly, the person you saw on videos was the real Rob. A very entertaining and genuine individual. I feel blessed and fortunate that I got to do a video together with him, and I will have that memory forever. I also know that when I get to heaven I’m going to see a lot of angels riding around in cool vintage muscle cars all of which were sold to them by Rob “Rabbit” Pitts. RIP brother.

R.I.P. Rob. I feel like we had a lot in common being only 22 days apart in age and both owning 95 trans ams at one point (his first car and i've owned mine for 20 years). You're in a better place now.

I found Rabbit through VinWiki. I loved his stories and the “honey over gravel” unmistakable voice. He always presented as 1000% genuine, truly a friend to all that would interact with him. Simultaneously a little cocky and quite humble. A great man has passed and will be terribly missed. I’ll be going back through all of the RUC videos. It’s a truly sad day in the CarTube community.

I never got to meet Rob but the first time I heard him speak, I was hooked to his wisdom and motivation. I live close to Greenville and the moment he announced that he was going to throw a huge party once the new shop was done, I couldn’t wait to go. I spoke about it so many times and kept checking in to make sure I hadn’t missed it. He was truly a blessing to this world and one of the most unique characters this world had to offer. Thanks to his words and motivation, the grind will never stop! Rest in peace to a true legend and a genuinely great guy.

Thank you for bringing Rabbit into the youtube automotive life so we can all have a chance to enjoy his life stories. Ed, Travis, and Rabbit, you three are the reason I know vin wiki and I'll never forget the stories you guys share. Thank you Rob for all the stories and making me excited to hear a story about selling cars.
