My Step Father was in country. He never talked about the experience but part of his hand was blown off and he had scar's up his back and spots on the back of his head where he couldn't grow hair. He carried himself like he was still there. I used to hate him for the abuse, but I forgave him after he died.

My father was, God rest his soul. What I heard about his service was much like your experience, through my mother. He never talked about it and did well considering what he experienced.

Don’t feel bad brother my dad did a tour in Vietnam in 66-67 he went to his grave without me knowing very little.
