As a plus sized girl, Alyssa, I am surprised how you have with your simply wonderful sense of style, helped me to improve my wardrobe…I can’t afford ALL slow fashion pieces as a teacher and plus sized, but I do aim for more linen ( Old Navy has some nice pieces) and cotton, and wool and cashmere ( Quince is somewhat affordable) pieces…and less purchase, more outfit strategies…Happy Holidays…and love love love you are in Italy…

I’ve been working on this for a while but I’m going to DIG IN!! I give things away to my friends, to people in my area via the Freeya app, recycle using the take back bags… and donate if I think it won’t end up in a landfill. Some things I sell on EBay and Poshmark but I need to get tough and just let things go if they don’t sell in a reasonable amount of time. It’s uplifting to make progress and I find it’s easier to get dressed! Low buy year… styling instead of shopping… organizing (more)… purging… here I come!

@ I don’t really. I try all the other methods first and if I’m left with things that are still in good shape, would probably sell, I take them to a small local non profit thrift shop. Cross my fingers and hope. But I did stop donating to the goodwill.

If you want to come to Bordeaux, as a fellow Canadian who packed a five bedroom house into half a container (yes I offloaded a LOT of stuff) and moved from NB to SW France...we have good second hand clothing shops too! Even way out here in the country!!! Four cats, two dogs, a top floor master suite to enjoy. Door is open. :). Every small adjustment brings a new horizon.
