I have to pause watchin' so I don't miss anything to tell you I scared my cat right off my lap because I clapped and cheered when you said you think it is the best pumpkin pie you've ever tasted. Now I know I'm not crazy for that being the only pumpkin pie I"ll eat! I am so glad you tried it! Ok, gotta watch the rest now in hopes you try a whole piece with the whipped cream. 🤣 Oh my goodness even Tittus likes it and without the whipped cream too. And of course Manley chose it also. Yum I love pumpkin and sweet potato pie. I make them with brown sugar. Many , many years ago a southern woman gave me my first piece of sweet potato pie. It was amazing. She said her "secret" ingredient was to add a 1/4 teaspoon of lemon extract to the mix. I love sweet potatoes, and roast them in my oven for about an hour to an hour and a half. The sugar in them caramalizes. It's amazing. You turned me onto the popcorn, also amazing ! I found the Rudolph snack mix at Dollar Tree. tfs 🥰🍃🍂🍁🌞🌛🦃✝️💗

Hi Falon, So much fun in today’s video with baking pies and grocery haul. Your pies look scrumptious. I’ll have a slice of each,lol!! Manley cracks me up laughing. He’s a natural. And how cute that he always wants to help his momma. Sissy pretty soon, will take over the kitchen. Well the baking end. She’s doing so good with stirring and mixing compared to when she first started..I enjoy watching all the kids grow. Amazing how quickly. Awesome grocery haul. Those pies look yummy. I always make sweet potato pie and pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. In the early 80’s my late husband and I moved to Chesapeake, Va. because that’s where his family lived. I had never had sweet potato pie or collard greens until we went to his parents for Thanksgiving. Now they are two must haves for my turkey dinner. 😀 I moved back to Ohio in 89 but have fond memories of Va. May God Bless. ❤️
