That intro was the best! 😃 I remember hearing the Sgt. Pepper soundtrack when it came out, and it was so awful as was the movie. I actually really like Combat Rock, even though it gets pretty weird. I love the studio side of John and Yoko's album... and agree about Paul, Geore and Ringo's choices. Pipes Of Peace is 75% awful.

At first I thought must be a different Turkey from Paul, but then I remembered "Pipes of Peace" had "Hey Hey" & "Tug of Peace" on it. So - yeah - that definitely brings it in as Turkeyyyyyyyy!!!

Great stuff Matt. Ageed on these especially Dirty Work & STINYC both awful records. I would put Ringo’s Bad Boy, Paul Press to Play instead of Pipes. George’ Gone Troppo instead of Extra Textra . If you had to pick a Beatles it would be Yellow Submarine. Two others turkeys : The Doors album without Morrison and the J Geils Band one without Peter Wolf 🦃 ! Neil Young has many but I will say Fork In The Road close second Landing on Water ! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃!

I have never been a fan of the mainstream pop of the 70's, so if I reviewed say, The Travolta thing ( I think he is a very accomplished actor) it would be like kicking a cripple. Love the Clash, hate "Combat Rock". I liked "Dirty Work" better than "Undercover of the Night" ( the only song I liked on there was the title track). Agree on the Ringo and John turkeys; My George turkey: " Living in the Material World"; Paul: "Press to Play"; Boston: All turkeys ( couldn't stand 70's "Corporate Rock"). I'm with you on all of these. I absolutely LOVE the Clash.... but I do NOT love Combat Rock! Yeah, Pool It is a turd floating in a pool. I mean a turdkey floating in a pool! I don't dislike that Prince album, but I can understand your feelings about it. And you picked Flash Gordon as Queen's turkey? I'd say that is Hot Space! I stopped listening to Stones albums after Tattoo You. There could be gems but I draw the line at Tattoo You.... And I agree with Extra Texture! "You" is in my Top 5 fave solo George songs but the rest of the album is like sour pumpkin pie! Agree with Sometime in New York City. My list for Paul turkeys is long.... I've not been a fan of a full Macca album since McCartney II. I totally want a copy of that Greatest Shit album! And agree with Having Fun with Elvis on Stage! And I, too, am dumbfounded by Boston's fall from grace!!!

Well, this is another nice mess of turkey albums you've gotten me into! I never heard the final 3 Boston albums, and I probably never will. For George, maybe his "Electronic Sound" could be a turkey, as well. It's just 35-40 minutes of him playing around with a synthesizer while trying to figure out how it works. I guess we could try to think up fictitious albums, like "Allen Klein Sings the Sex Pistols' Songbook."

Matt, I have never seen that Cheap Trick album. So many people love that a Prince album, me, meh. Flash Gordon was awful, I bought that album and it sucked lol. Some great Turkeys

The Clash's Cut the Crap is far, far worse, though by that point, they were barely the Clash. Combat Rock is not my favorite Clash album, but it is still good.
